Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will decapitate Duke as insane revenge follows her Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) cheating discovery. Ava’s about to take a twisted turn back to her sinister roots, so here’s what Days fans can look forward to.
DOOL’s winter preview video shows a playful moment between Nicole, Rafe and the teddy bear they share custody of. Duke has become a little inside joke between them, but plenty of viewers have been saying enough already!
It seems like so many fans want to reach through their screens and rip this bear’s head off themselves at this point.
What could’ve been a fun thing for a day or two has turned into months of toting this dumb bear around – including an episode where Rafe imagined Duke was talking to him.
It’s safe to say most Days watchers just want this bear gone, so the show’s going to deliver some satisfaction by letting Ava behead Duke!
DOOL’s winter preview features Ava in Basic Black using some scissors to cut that teddy bear’s head right off.
Ava will look rather pleased with herself when she does it, so she’ll clearly be enjoying the start of her plot for vengeance.
The question is: Will Ava go after Rafe, Nicole or both?
It’s possible Ava’s revenge will be directed mostly at Nicole if she feels she can hold onto Rafe. Ava might think she just has to get Nicole out of the way first.
In that case, the bear’s beheading is quite disturbing since it could be a sign of what Ava’s capable of when it comes to going after her former friend.
The same idea applies with Rafe if Ava mainly blames him for his betrayal. Rafe is the one who committed to Ava and then broke that commitment, so Ava might make him her main revenge target.
However, going after both Rafe and Nicole is another option here.
Ava will take a crazy turn no matter what, so it should be interesting to see just how far off the deep end she goes! We’ll offer updates as other Days news becomes available.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava will eventually find out about Rafe and Nicole’s Halloween hookup, so that should lead to Duke’s decapitation and a revenge scheme.
