Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Chandler Massey (Will Horton) and Eileen Davidson (Kristen DiMera) are set to reprise their roles for an upcoming Christmas special on Peacock, so let’s discuss everything we know so far.
Following the success of the Beyond Salem limited series, the streaming service is dipping into a new area with a fun Christmas movie.
The film is called Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas and will premiere on December 16, so it won’t be long until viewers are treated to some holiday cheer.
It doesn’t look like there’ll be anything related to the possession featured in this flick, so that’s good news for anyone wanting a break from all the devil drama.
Instead, this will be a different story from the mind of Will Horton as he scrambles to write a movie script before his deadline on the night before Christmas.
Will’s going to lean into the usual holiday tropes with his screenplay, but there’ll no doubt be some DOOL shockers that are far from the norm. It just wouldn’t be Salem unless things got a little weird!
In addition to Chandler Massey returning as Will, it’ll be great to see Eileen Davidson again as Kristen.
Although Days hasn’t outright confirmed that’s who Davidson will be playing, it’s obvious based on the info and pics that have been released.
Of course, this Christmas special is just something Will’s dreaming up for his script, so Days will stick with their latest theme of having Davidson’s Kristen in the fantasy realm.
Stacy Haiduk will continue to play Kristen DiMera on the main show, but Davidson’s return will offer a different take on her familiar role and no doubt draw in some viewers for Peacock.
Will’s screenplay will feature some stories that tie in with loved ones, so look for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to be included along with many others.
There are some rumblings about Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady) potentially being part of this project as well, so that would certainly make this Christmas movie quite the gift for fans!
