Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will keep a huge secret from Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers), so the suspicions that follow will set up a marriage bombshell and ultimately spell big trouble!
DOOL fans know Lani has become rather territorial when it comes to her husband. She doesn’t like the way Chanel always seems to see Eli naked and comment on how attractive he is.
As a result, Chanel promised she’d refrain from making those comments and try being more respectful of Lani’s feelings.
Even so, Lani can’t help but get annoyed whenever she finds Chanel and Eli together. It feels like Days is setting up a betrayal or at least some misunderstandings.
During the week of June 28-July 2, Eli and Chanel will make a great team. They’ll hide something from Lani, but it looks like their intentions will be pure.
Since we know an anniversary bash is looming for Lani and Eli, perhaps Eli will recruit Chanel to help him prepare for it. Then again, Chanel might just volunteer.
Either way, Chanel and Eli will secretly work on a project together, so we have to believe it’ll involve preserving the surprise of this party for Lani.
Days spoilers say Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) will join the celebration, so Eli or Chanel might call him up and ask him to come home. Chanel and Theo dated for a while, so she could get in touch and ask for this crucial favor.
On the other hand, it might be Eli who asks Theo to fly back to Salem for this.
Chanel and Eli will just want to make sure this gathering is as perfect as possible, but Lani will be watching them closely. She may get suspicious and confront the party-planning duo about what’s really going on.
It’d be easy for Lani to suspect Chanel and Eli are cheating if she lets her mind go to that awful place. Of course, there’s a chance that Eli and Chanel could cheat for real down the road!
This alliance seems dangerous and could set up some bombshells following the one Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) delivers.
There’ll be big trouble at the Horton Town Square groundbreaking, which will tie in with the anniversary bash, too. Since Chanel and Eli are getting closer, she could become someone he turns to for comfort and guidance.
Eli has already provided those things to Chanel, but they could build on their bond even further and cause chaos.
