Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) will seek comfort in Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) arms, so will kiss number two follow their destroyed bakery dream? DOOL fans know Allie and Chanel have a close bond, which led to Chanel testing the waters with a kiss when she first reunited with Allie in Salem.
Although Allie was initially certain she just wanted to remain friends, it’s clear that her feelings run deeper. There are definitely times when Allie and Chanel exchange a more than friendly look.
Allie even suggested she didn’t mind if people mistakenly assumed they were a couple, so Days is building to something here.
That doesn’t necessarily mean Allie will choose Chanel over Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), but it does mean there’s more to explore between Chanel and Allie.
Chanel told Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) she wasn’t sure if she’d ever find someone else she could connect with in the same way.
Allie means a great deal to Chanel – and their bond will be on full display in the aftermath of Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) bombshell.
Paulina is secretly setting Chanel up to fail through her true Horton Town Square plans, so Chanel will be devastated for several reasons once Paulina’s plot is revealed.
For starters, Chanel finally thought she was building a stable relationship with her mom, but this will blow it to smithereens. Chanel will feel betrayed since Paulina is putting wealth above her daughter’s happiness.
Plus, this was the first time Chanel was really putting herself out there with a project she was passionate about. Chanel was always a freeloader in the past, but this bakery gave her a goal she was actually excited about – especially since it meant hanging out with Allie more often.
This quickly became a new dream for Allie as well, so it’ll be hard for both of them when Paulina wrecks it. However, this will devastate Chanel more since Sweet Bits was her baby and her own mother is the one robbing her of it.
Whatever the Horton Town Square truth is will ruin the business before it ever opens.
When Raven Bowens takes over the role of Chanel on July 6, Days spoilers say Allie will console her bestie and offer a pep talk. She might argue that they still have all their recipes and can find a new storefront somewhere else.
Allie won’t want Chanel to give up, so she’ll share some kind words and no doubt pull her into a warm embrace.
This could easily set the stage for another kiss to happen in a vulnerable moment. It could offer an opportunity to see Allie and Chanel’s chemistry once Bowens is playing the part.
If Chanel and Allie do end up kissing again, they’ll have to address what’s going on between them and how they’re going to handle it.
