Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will undergo hypnosis during the week of January 25-29 – and the result will mean a painful visit to the past. Allie will put her fears aside and let Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) try to draw her memories to the surface.
Although reliving this nightmare will be incredibly difficult, it’s the only way Allie can say with certainty who was behind the assault. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Marlena will put Allie under and gently encourage her to remember.
Allie will describe what she sees in her own mind as the events of that night slowly come back to her.
DOOL fans will get a chance to see what Allie’s recalling as well, so expect some flashbacks that are tough to watch. Days will show us exactly what happened after Allie got undressed and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) left his note behind.
Once Tripp was gone, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) slipped in and approached Allie in bed.
Allie was drunk and out of it, but she definitely tried her best to resist Charlie. Days of Our Lives viewers will witness Allie struggling a bit and repeatedly telling Charlie no.
Charlie was the one who gripped Allie’s wrists to hold her down, which will be a crucial part of these upcoming flashbacks.
There’ll be a small set that serves as Allie’s flat – complete with a British flag on her wall just as a reminder of where they were at the time. It seems likely we’ll hear Charlie tell Allie “arrivederci” as he snatches up Tripp’s note and walks out.
Charlie’s casual attitude toward all of this should make him seem even more revolting, especially since he put Allie through all this and is still lying about it. The fact that Days will air the excruciating details of Allie’s assault doesn’t bode well for Charlie’s future on the show.
We’ll see the trauma of what Allie went through firsthand. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Charlie’s going to look like an unredeemable monster.
Once DOOL fans actually see the assault happen, will viewers ever be able to view Charlie as anything other than Allie’s rapist? This man is disgusting!
We’d like to think Days writers would be smart enough to throw the character away instead of expecting us to buy Charlie’s “Mommy didn’t love me enough” sob story. It certainly doesn’t excuse Allie’s assault.
Plenty of people feel abandoned by their parents, but most of them don’t pounce on vulnerable young women as prey. Charlie’s actions are unforgivable, so it’s hard to imagine him as a long-term character following these new London flashbacks.
