Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will find herself hoping for a friend to turn to. Of course, DOOL fans know Gwen certainly doesn’t have many people in her corner around Salem right now.
Gwen’s made plenty of enemies through her plans to target Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and those closest to them.
However, there’s someone Gwen had a connection to in the past, so she’ll hope she can revive that bond. Back when Gwen faked a breakdown and hid out at Bayview, she befriended Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) while they were both locked up.
Claire and Gwen got along well, so Gwen will hope she can still count on Claire as a pal.
DOOL writers haven’t done the greatest job of keeping this friendship going throughout Claire and Gwen’s storylines in recent months. It’s almost been forgotten except for a time or two when Gwen and Claire talked briefly after crossing paths.
Nevertheless, Gwen will hope this is one of those friendships that’s easy to pick back up. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case – not after all the horrible drama Gwen’s caused.
Gwen drugged Abigail, plotted to blow up Jack and Jennifer Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) marriage, slept with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and put Abigail’s own marriage to Chad in jeopardy, too.
Claire has no doubt heard about all Gwen’s scheming, so that should be why she snubs Gwen during the week of March 22-26. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will face a cold Claire’s rejection, so that should leave Gwen saddened and angry as well.
Gwen may realize this friendship is over – and we all know there’s the potential for trouble when someone becomes an enemy of Gwen’s! Since Gwen is such a fan of revenge, we wouldn’t put it past her to make Claire a target if the opportunity arises.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire’s possible guilt in Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) murder mystery will be explored. Could Gwen pick up on some clues and accuse Claire of killing Charlie?
It’s doubtful Claire really pulled the trigger, but Gwen might find some evidence or at least suspect Claire did the deed once she learns more.
