Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) could get a second chance at romance. Will they bond after Claire loses Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) to Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) and Tripp loses Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) to Chanel Dupree (Precious Way)?
Claire already seems to have made peace with Ciara being Ben’s true love. She planted a kiss that was reciprocated at first, but Ben ultimately pulled away and couldn’t take things any further.
Ben’s going to fight for his marriage, so Claire doesn’t stand a chance at winning him over. Claire doesn’t even seem interested in trying, which is just as well since it’d be a losing battle.
However, that doesn’t mean the recent rejection didn’t hurt. Although Claire wants Ben to find happiness with Ciara again, it may sting once a “CIN” reunion happens, too.
After Ciara’s memories return and she’s back together with Ben, Days spoilers say it could be rather bittersweet for Claire. It may be hard to see Ben and Ciara so happy while Claire’s all alone!
Meanwhile, we’ve got Tripp, who could find himself alone as well. DOOL fans know Tripp is quite smitten with Allie and hopes for a future together, but Chanel could ruin his plans.
As Allie grows closer to Chanel, she’ll be forced to deal with her real feelings – and those feelings may go beyond friendship.
There are some hints about a summer romance developing for Allie and Chanel, so Tripp may get his heart broken. This seems like the perfect time for Days to try a Tripp and Claire reunion.
When Tripp first returned to Salem, Claire thought they might be able to try again. They probably would have if the wrongful assault accusations hadn’t turned Claire against Tripp. Claire thought Tripp was a lying rapist, so that put the kibosh on any thoughts of reuniting.
Now that Claire knows Tripp is innocent, there’s the potential for another chance after all. It’d be easy for Tripp and Claire to end up commiserating over their romantic woes. If nothing else, Claire and Tripp could land in bed together after drowning their sorrows.
It’s also possible Tripp and Claire will find genuine love again, so we’ll just have to see how things play out! We’ll pass along updates as other Days news becomes available.
