Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Friday, February 5 Recap - Ben Believes Ciara's Alive - Ivan Tricks Eli & Lani - Philip Kisses Chloe

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, February 5, reveal that Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) stood with guns drawn as Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) opened the door at the Chicago house. Ivan smoothly said that “Madame” and the twins were alive and well inside, but that he couldn’t let Lani and Eli enter.

Eventually, Eli and Lani got Ivan to let them in, but Ivan insisted that they leave their guns outside since Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) was in a fragile and volatile mental state.

Eli and Lani complied, and when they walked into the house, they immediately saw a baby blanket laying on the sofa. Ivan got Lani and Eli to give up their cell phones, and he took them to the room where the twins supposedly were.

Lani and Eli rushed into the room, and Ivan locked them in. Ivan went back to the living room where he talked with Vivian, who had no idea that Lani and Eli were there. Vivian told Ivan that she was thrilled with the babies, and Ivan said that he wouldn’t let anything get in the way of her raising the children.

In the sound-proof room where Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) was being held, Rhodes (Jason Downs) was unconscious as Ciara tried to get out of the room. When Ciara tried to get the electronic key from Rhodes’ keychain, he woke up and held her at gunpoint.

Rhodes insisted that he wouldn’t hesitate to kill Ciara, and Ciara wrestled with him, trying to get the gun. The gun went off, but neither Ciara nor Rhodes were shot. Rhodes fumed that he was going to take away Ciara’s reading privileges, and as he shut Ciara back in the room, viewers saw a shark tattoo on his arm.

At Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) penthouse, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) told Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) that Ciara was trying to get away from a bad man and that she was trapped in glass box.

Susan “saw” a gun in the picture, too, and she said that the gun had gone off. Susan also said that she saw a shark.

Ben got agitated and wanted more information from Susan, but her premonition skills went blank. Susan left, telling Claire to hide John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) neckties. Ben and Claire were both weirded out by Susan, but they both thoroughly believed now that Ciara was alive.

Ben worried about the gunshot that Susan talked about, and he looked at the fortune from his fortune cookie which read, “Nothing is ever lost if you follow your heart.”

Back where Ciara was being held, Ciara banged on the wall of the room wanting out, then she picked up a fortune cookie that was laying on the table and opened it. It read, “Nothing is ever lost if you follow your heart.” “Please don’t give up on me, Ben,” Ciara said through tears. “I’m going to find my way back to you.”

At the hospital, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) took off from Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) room, and Brady talked briefly with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), who was in Philadelphia trying to smooth things over with the mob.

Brady then got a call from Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) from prison. Brady and Kristen argued over Kristen breaking out of prison and her threats against Chloe.

Kristen was upset that Brady had lied to her about being with Chloe in the moments before he got shot, and Brady tried to reassure Kristen that she had nothing to worry about with Chloe.

Soon, Susan entered Brady’s room with balloons, and Brady hung up on Kristen. Susan visited with Brady, making him uncomfortable with all her doting.

Susan said that she was having another premonition, and that this wouldn’t be the last visit that she shares with Brady. Meanwhile, back at the prison, Kristen mused that Susan might just be the answer to her prayers.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Chloe came to see Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), who had just written his resignation letter for Victor. Philip relayed that Victor was in Philadelphia trying to take care of all the problems he caused. Philip was happy that Chloe had always stood by him.

Chloe responded that they were friends, and then Philip said that they’ve always been more than friends. Philip leaned in for a kiss, and afterwards, Chloe noted that Philip had a lot on his plate right now.

Philip said that perhaps Chloe wanted to rekindle things with Brady, and Chloe denied it. Philip said he wanted to pick things back up with Chloe, and he noted that Chloe hadn’t said no to that.
