Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, November 26, teases that Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) will be hospitalized after her suicide attempt – and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will frantically search for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Let’s talk about what’s ahead on Friday’s DOOL episode.
Susan just couldn’t plunge that dagger into John’s heart the way possessed Marlena wanted, but she didn’t want her precious EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to die a gruesome death either. Since Susan was facing options she didn’t like, she decided to stab herself and hopefully save both men.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) looked confused over what was happening when he arrived at the DiMera crypt, which makes sense considering John is still shackled and Susan has blood all over her. Even more Days mayhem is about to go down now that John and Susan have been discovered.
Although Susan may manage to say a few words about the devil or Marlena’s possession, she’ll pass out soon enough. Steve will realize Susan needs ASAP medical attention, which means the calm holiday dinner going on inside the DiMera mansion is about to be derailed.
Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) will be there with EJ when they learn there’s an emergency going on. That’ll send Anna into hero mode as she heads into the crypt and works to break John free from his chains.
John will need a minute to rest and explain what happened, but it won’t be long until he’s rushing out the door in hopes of finding possessed Marlena. Of course, John doesn’t have the strength for this and should really be hospitalized after his ordeal. He’ll collapse within the next episode or two, so he’ll be heading to the ER whether he likes it or not!
In the meantime, Days spoilers say EJ will tend to bleeding Susan and demand an ambulance. After the medical team patches Susan up at the hospital, she’ll share a heartfelt scene with EJ. It’ll be a sweet reunion for this mother and her son – though EJ will no doubt scold her for trying to sacrifice her own life for his.
At the Horton house, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) will be adamant that Marlena is the devil. Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will quickly believe her husband based on Marlena’s behavior lately!
Belle Brady (Martha Madison) should also realize the answer to all their Marlena questions has been staring them in the face. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will likely try to apprehend Marlena until they can figure out how to free her from the devil’s grasp, but Marlena won’t stick around to get captured.
While Marlena bolts following a confrontation with Julie, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will have a tiny holiday celebration for two back at their apartment. That is until Marlena shows up at the door and begs the surprised couple to hide her!
