Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest it’ll be a girl for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal)! We’ve got three baby daughter clues ahead of Ciara’s pregnancy, so let’s talk about this gender prediction and why a girl perhaps seems most likely.
1) Eve Donovan Offered a Daughter Hint
Back in 2020, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) was determined to get revenge on Ben for killing her daughter, Paige Larson (True O’Brien). DOOL fans will recall how Eve kidnapped Ben and programmed him to kill Ciara with Vincent Belman’s (Michael Teh) help.
Eve wanted Ben to feel her pain, but she acknowledged that he didn’t have a daughter to murder.
That’s why Eve sent Ben after the wife he loved so much, but the daughter comment may have foreshadowed the day when Ben would have a daughter of his own.
2) Evil Son Nightmare vs. Sweet Baby Girl Reality
Ben also had an evil son nightmare on September 27, which featured Ben and Ciara’s future little boy strangling the babysitter. Perhaps Days writers will want to do the total opposite of that when the time comes for “Cin’s” firstborn.
Ben and Ciara may welcome a sweet baby girl, making their reality a dream come true instead.
It might be easier for Ben to move past his fears about his bad genes if he has a daughter rather than a son.
It’s just tough to believe Ben would look at his precious baby girl and think of her as the next necktie killer, so this would be a good story strategy.
3) Ciara’s First Instinct Was to Predict a Daughter
While trying to reassure Ben in New Orleans, Ciara imagined a scenario involving their potential daughter and how Ben would handle it perfectly.
Although Ciara ultimately acknowledged a son was also a possibility and would be happy with either, her first instinct was to predict a daughter in the September 27 episode.
Maybe Days is trying to lay the groundwork for Ciara’s baby girl long before she even gets pregnant! “Cin” fans will be pleased regardless, but watching Ben and Ciara welcome a daughter seems like the best outcome.
