Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) could have a sizzling affair with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Will Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) end up heartbroken and furious over Jake’s cheating?
Plenty of DOOL fans saw steamy chemistry between Jake and Ava in their August 10 scenes together. Days also highlighted an intriguing connection since Jake admitted the mob family he worked for in Philly was the Vitali mob fam.
Ava confirmed that she previously took over for Angelo Vitali (Angelo Tiffe) before getting out of the mob to concentrate on her son, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).
Of course, Ava and Jake also chatted about things like living arrangements, jobs and Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) love for Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal).
There was a natural ease to the conversation, so DOOL could build on this and have Jake grow closer to Ava in the coming episodes.
It’d make sense considering the rivalry that’s developed between Ava and Gabi. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that rivalry will be on display once again during the week of August 16-20.
Gabi will take great pleasure in provoking Ava, but people can be pushed too far. If Gabi crosses Ava one too many times, Ava just might get revenge by tempting Jake and landing in bed with him.
Ava might wind up cheating on Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) as well since major issues are brewing in that relationship.
There’s a good chance Gabi’s Titan plot is going to end in disaster somehow. Even if Gabi knocks Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) off the throne, there’s no guarantee Gabi will be the one who claims the CEO seat after him.
It could just as easily be Jake who Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) wants in charge.
A power struggle like that would definitely lead to a fight between Jake and Gabi. Relationship conflict often sends Days characters to other Salemites’ beds; just ask Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker)!
After a big blowup with Gabi, Jake could easily be tempted by Ava – especially if Ava takes advantage of the situation. Since Ava’s poised to have problems of her own with Rafe, it’s a no-brainer for Days to put Jake and Ava on a bedroom collision course.
Regret usually follows in the aftermath of a soap betrayal, so Jake might join the cheaters’ regret club and score himself a secret to keep from Gabi. We’ll offer updates as other news rolls in.
