Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will find herself facing a serious predicament after a showdown goes horribly wrong.
The trouble will start when Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) comes clean to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) about pretending to be his secretary. Laura is the one who secretly sent checks to Gwen’s mom, Tiffany Rizczech.
After Jack finds out Laura’s buried secret, he’ll fly into a rage. Laura will insist she didn’t want Tiffany to cause problems for Jack and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain), so she thought this was the best way to handle it. This was an effort to protect Jennifer and Jack’s relationship, but Jack won’t approve at all.
Jack will understand Gwen’s perspective and will be outraged on her behalf. He’ll blow his top in a big way, so Laura will finally leave to let him cool off. During the week of February 8-12, Jack will take the truth to Gwen and leave her equally furious with Laura.
It’ll set up the showdown we mentioned, so let’s talk about that.
Days spoilers say Gwen will unload all the anger she’s been dealing with for years. We’re talking about everything Gwen’s had bottled up her entire life, so that tells us Gwen will really be livid!
There’s a good chance Gwen will make this confrontation physical as a result. Gwen may end up shoving Laura or getting in her face until she falls accidentally.
It sounds like Laura could end up with serious injuries based on a couple crucial things. For starters, February sweeps preview info points to Laura’s revelation kicking off a chain reaction – one that brings a tragic outcome.
We also know that after this fierce faceoff, Gwen will be frantic. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will be in panic mode as she begs Jack for help.
It certainly looks like Gwen will do some major damage and worry she’s going to land in prison for it. Will Laura die as a result of her injuries? It’s possible, though we should note that DOOL also has a murder mystery coming up in the month ahead.
Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) is probably going to bite the dust in a whodunit, so it seems excessive to kill off another character, too.
Furthermore, it just feels cruel to bring Laura back only to kill her off. Putting Laura in a long-term coma is another option to consider here. It might be a tad repetitive since Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) is already in one, but it’d set the stage for Laura to wake up and rat Gwen out later.
Either way, Gwen will no doubt want Jack to cover for her. She’ll think Jack owes her since he wasn’t there for her when she was a child, so she’ll hope he can do this one thing. Jack may be tempted to honor Gwen’s request, but it’d mean lying to Jennifer about her mother’s terrible situation!
Under the circumstances, Jack himself may even claim he attacked Laura. He could sell the story of things getting out of hand when he lashed out over Laura’s lies, which is basically the truth about Gwen’s showdown.
Jack will just be inserting himself in Gwen’s place in that story – at least if all these Days spoilers add up like they think they will!
