Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, April 26, reveals that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) flew into a rage over Chanel Dupree’s (Precious Way) decision to team up with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).
Chanel tried to lie her way out of trouble, but she was ultimately forced to admit she indeed joined forces with Xander in the end – though it only happened because Xander wouldn’t agree to a divorce.
Paulina remained furious with them both, so she snatched the check from Xander and ripped it up.
After Paulina stormed out, Xander and Chanel bickered with each other until Xander finally agreed to divorce Chanel. Now that there was no chance of getting any money out of Paulina, Xander was willing to cut ties.
At the pub on Monday’s Days episode, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) talked to Abe Carver (James Reynolds) about dating Chanel back in South Africa. Although Theo thought Chanel was fun at first, he quickly realized she wasn’t the woman for him.
Theo was glad since it freed him up to move on and filled Abe in on his plan to take Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) home with him.
Abe brought up the fact that Ciara was still married, but Theo argued that Ciara’s marriage to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) was totally over in her mind. Although Abe was afraid Theo would get hurt, Theo insisted he was all grown up and couldn’t be talked out of this.
Abe shared a tender moment with Theo as he expressed how proud he was of his son and bid him farewell for now. Afterward on Monday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Theo stopped by Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) apartment to tell them goodbye as well.
Eli and Lani were forced to stop their lovemaking attempt to answer the door, but they assured Theo it was fine and that he didn’t have to come back later. Theo offered updates on Ciara moving back to South Africa with him, which left Lani just as concerned as Abe.
Nevertheless, Theo once again stood his ground and promised he’d be back soon to spend time with his goddaughter and niece.
Once Theo was gone on Monday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Lani worried about Theo moving on so fast from Chanel. Eli argued that Chanel was just a fling, but Lani pointed out that Abe said Theo had been in love with Ciara since he was two.
Lani worried about what would happen if Ciara got her memory back and couldn’t reunite with Ben fast enough. Eli didn’t think there was anything that could change Theo’s mind and wanted to get back to their plans for passion.
Back at the pub on Monday’s episode of Days of Our Lives, Paulina cried to Abe about Chanel stabbing her in the back. Abe offered reassurance and was surprised to learn Paulina was leaving town.
However, Paulina insisted she just had some affairs to take care of in Miami and would return to set up Salem as her home base. Lani and Eli were interrupted once again as Paulina showed up at the door.
Paulina admitted she’d come to say goodbye since she’d be leaving town for a week or two. Eli and Lani also found out Chanel was in on the scam with Xander, so they understood Paulina’s frustration.
After Lani and Eli stepped out of the room to get some new photos of the twins, Paulina told Jules Grant and Carver Grant that she hated to leave them.
As Paulina leaned over the babies’ bassinets, she admitted she wanted to tell them a little secret before she left and started to whisper. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Paulina’s secret will make some serious waves down the road, so stay tuned!
As Monday’s DOOL episode continued, Theo found Chanel crying in the town square. After Theo handed over a handkerchief, Chanel wondered if he might reconsider letting her come back to South Africa with him.
The answer was no, so Chanel assured Theo that she’d figure something out since she always did.
After Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) agreed to take Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) back to his place, they wound up back in his bedroom. Philip offered to have the cook make Gabi something, but she wanted him to shut up and kiss her.
Gabi and Philip started taking their clothes off as they kissed passionately, but Gabi thought of Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and had to pump the brakes.
Gabi was embarrassed and thought she was pathetic for being hung up on Jake, but Philip offered reassurance and pulled her into a hug.
As for Jake at the DiMera mansion, he eventually recognized “Susan Banks” aka Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) as EJ DiMera’s mom and the one who helped Ben through those premonitions.
“Susan” said she’d had another premonition and left unconscious Kate behind the sofa. She claimed that she saw Jake with Gabi clear as day and thought he should give into that “howling at the moon kind of love.”
Jake insisted Kate was the only woman for him and tried to get rid of “Susan,” but she was careful to keep him away from nearby Kate on the floor.
After Jake found an outfit of Kate’s, he was baffled since Kate was supposedly upstairs packing. “Susan” sent Jake upstairs to search for himself and then stood over Kate’s unconscious body.
She decided she’d just have to “disappear” Kate like she did Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) since Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) would spill her secret if she didn’t.
In Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) suite, she continued looking at possible brain tumor treatments for Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and thought there was hope. Chloe also saw in the news that Belle Brady (Martha Madison) had been arrested, so she spoke with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) about it over the phone.
Brady disconnected so he could talk to John Black (Drake Hogestyn), so that allowed Chloe to make an appointment with Dr. Dun. Chloe was thrilled over this specialist’s willingness to come to Salem for Lucas’ sake.
Once Chloe got back on the phone with Brady, he said he’d try to visit Belle in the morning. Brady offered to let Chloe come as well, but she confessed she had an important doctor’s appointment.
That left Brady worried, but Chloe let him know it was for a friend. Brady thought it was kind of Chloe to be there for him or her and wished her luck.
