Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, June 28 Recap – Kristen’s Letter Spills Sami’s Cheating Secret – Chad & EJ New Co-CEOs

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, June 28, reveals that Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) letter threatened to spill Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) cheating secret while Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) became the new co-CEO’s of DiMera Enterprises.

At the Salem PD on Monday’s DOOL episode, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) asked what was up with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and the teddy bear in his office.

Rafe explained the inside joke he had with Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) about sharing custody of Duke, but Eli wondered if Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) was in the loop.

Rafe assured Eli that Ava knew he was just friends with Nicole, but Eli asked if Rafe knew that! He mentioned that Rafe and Nicole spent Christmas Eve alone together.

Now they’re sharing custody of a stuffed bear like it’s rom-com, so Eli felt like maybe there was more going on.

Rafe admitted there was a time when he considered the possibility that he could be more than friends with Nicole. However, Rafe argued that nothing was going to happen since he was with Ava and Nicole was married to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).

Eli asked if that meant that Rafe was completely over Nicole – and the look on Rafe’s face told Eli he was right. Based on everything he’d just learned, Eli thought Rafe was asking for trouble.

Eli was even more concerned to learn Rafe had a dream where he kissed Nicole, especially since Ava had the mob in her blood and could retaliate. Eli’s advice was to “throw that damn bear in the incinerator.”

At Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) place, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) joined her for breakfast after spending the night. Paulina admitted she’d been up since the crack of dawn since she’d had a rather racy dream.

Abe liked the sound of that, but Paulina confessed the dream actually involved making love to another woman.

That got Paulina talking about Chanel Dupree’s (Precious Way) news about liking both boys and girls. Although Paulina supported people no matter their sexual orientation, she felt like it was a little different when it was your own child.

Paulina wondered how Abe would feel if Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) told him he liked kissing boys. Abe liked to think he’d be fine, but he guessed you can never really predict your reaction in a situation like that.

Paulina mainly hated that Chanel felt the need to keep things from her, but then she shrugged that she wasn’t the greatest and being honest either.

Abe asked what that meant, but Paulina changed the subject to another racy dream about Abe and got him chuckling over a kiss.

At an undisclosed location, Kristen got updates on EJ’s push for the ouster on her tablet. She realized EJ had gone back to Salem to reunite with Sami and decided to write a letter.

In that letter, Kristen recapped how she caught Sami sneaking a man out of the townhouse and heard them talking about sleeping together the night before.

Kristen added that she confronted Sami, who admitted to cheating on EJ with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). Once Kristen wrapped up the letter, she muttered about Sami getting what she deserved as the prepared to send it to EJ.

At Rafe’s house on Monday’s Days episode, Ava told Nicole that Rafe said steam was coming out of Lucas’ ears as EJ was going on and on about his marriage.

Ava felt like Lucas was indeed jealous, so maybe Nicole was onto something when it came to Lucas and Sami cheating.

Talk turned to Ava wanting to make something other than Italian for Rafe, so Nicole mentioned that Rafe wanted to go to New Orleans. Ava thought she could handle creole cuisine and thanked Nicole for the tip.

Ava wanted Nicole to join them, but Nicole made excuses and finally admitted she didn’t want to be a third wheel. Ava acted like that was nonsense and refused to take no for an answer.

Ava eventually made her way to Rafe’s office, where she brought him the cell phone he left behind. She mentioned that Nicole was joining them for a special dinner – and Eli’s reaction suggested that he once again suspected trouble was brewing.

At the pub on Monday’s Days episode, Lucas warned Sami to back off Nicole. He felt that would make Nicole back off as well and give Sami a shot at saving her “stupid marriage.”

Although Lucas wanted to reunite with Sami, he was willing to let it go if Sami didn’t feel the same way. Lucas ultimately just wanted Sami to be happy.

Nicole walked in and witnessed a close moment between the exes, which included them holding hands.

Nicole sauntered over to Sami and Lucas’ table, so Sami eventually apologized for acting so crazy and said she knew Sami surely didn’t cheat on Eric – especially not with scum like Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).

After Sami left, Lucas praised her for taking his advice. Sami insisted that she wasn’t backing down at all and still intended to nail Nicole the cheater. She just wanted Nicole to drop her guard.

Outside the pub, Nicole talked to Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) in his stroller. She asked just how stupid “Grammy Sami” thought she was and had no intention of backing down either.

At DiMera Enterprises, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) wondered which DiMera brother he should take to the board as Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) replacement.

Both EJ and Chad piped up about taking over, so that launched a fight about who should be in charge. Things got pretty nasty, but Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) convinced them to run the company together.

Li loved the co-CEOs idea and thought there’d be no objections from the board.

Tony predicted this would result in great success for DiMera Enterprises – as long as EJ and Chad worked together rather than becoming adversaries. He pushed his brothers to shake on it, though there was still some lingering tension.

At the DiMera mansion, Kate told Jake that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) was the reason she voted against him. She ranted about Gabi saying that Jake was only staying with her out of pity.

Jake tried to act like that wasn’t true, but he was thrown when Kate wanted him to prove it by moving away – perhaps to a penthouse in Chicago.

Kate suggested she was willing to reverse her vote and argued that Jake could work remotely. Gabi knew how much Jake loved his job, but he ultimately admitted that he loved Gabi more.

After Jake said he couldn’t live the lie anymore, Kate said she couldn’t either. She removed her sunglasses and revealed that she was never blind.

Gabi called Kate the “biggest bitch” she’d ever known, so Kate fired back about what craven, obnoxious and self-serving creatures Jake and Gabi were. We’ll keep you posted as other Days details become available.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate will unload more of her anger as this confrontation continues, so stay tuned to DOOL. CDL’s where you want to be for the hottest Days of Our Lives spoilers, news and updates, so check back often.
