Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, September 20, tease that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) creepy film twist will rock Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) while Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has a sinister session with possessed Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will also help Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) cope with Doug’s struggles, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
Now that Johnny has discovered Marlena’s possession in the Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) story script, he’ll be eager to spill the news to Allie.
Johnny and Allie know most of their family’s messed-up history, but this chapter was apparently so traumatic that Marlena never mentioned it.
Of course, Allie and Johnny will be able to read all about it in the Sami screenplay, but Allie will be skeptical at first. Although Allie knows a lot of crazy stuff’s happened in Salem over the years, this will seem awfully extreme.
Allie will be unsettled over the idea of the possession, but she’ll hold out hope that maybe Will Horton (Chandler Massey) made it up to add some interest to the script.
However, the possession really happened on Days back in the ‘90s – and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will confirm that to Allie soon enough.
In the meantime, John will have a lot on his mind when Abe Carver (James Reynolds) stops by for a visit.
Abe will likely want to discuss his eventual engagement to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), but he’ll sense that John has something more important and far more troubling he’s wrestling with.
Days spoilers say John will open up to Abe about the movie Johnny plans to make.
John will worry about the possession drama being stirred up again and won’t think that’s something any of them should mess around with. Once Allie gets updates later, she’s definitely going to agree!
Until then, Julie will fret over the mystery of Doug’s mental decline and strange behavior.
Eli will let Julie lean on him for support and will remind her that Marlena’s a pro. They’ll both trust that Marlena can get to the bottom of what’s truly wrong with Doug.
In Marlena’s office, she’ll continue her session with Doug. It just took a disturbing turn since Doug’s voice changed – indicating the devil was back for Marlena after over 25 years.
Doug is obviously possessed and will really go off the rails in the week ahead.
Doug’s behavior will spiral out of control and set the stage for Marlena to take on the evil spirit herself in the coming episodes.
At the pub, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will try to convince Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) that another shot at a romance would be worth it.
Kate and Roman will reflect on some memories as Kate hopefully decides to take a leap of faith.
There’s still plenty of warmth and chemistry between them, so what does Kate have to lose by giving Roman one more chance?
