Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jackée Harry will make her debut as Paulina Price on March 1 – and her surprise arrival will definitely shake things up!
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will be over for a visit at Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) apartment when there’s a knock at the door. When Lani opens it, she’ll grin as she excitedly greets “Aunt Paulina.”
Lani will quickly introduce her aunt to Abe and Eli, so they’ll be happy to meet her. Paulina will make a splash right away with her fur coat and flashy jewelry. It’ll become apparent right away that Paulina is sassy and not afraid to speak her mind.
In an interview with EW, Harry discussed some new details about her character on Days, so let’s talk about Paulina and what she’ll be up to in Salem. For starters, Paulina is filthy rich!
Paulina makes her living as a real estate mogul in Miami, so she’s got great taste and lots of clients who are willing to throw money at her.
Harry also called Paulina “scandalous,” which she thinks is necessary to be on a show like DOOL. “I mean, you gotta be scandalous on Days of Our Lives — you need murder, scandal, and divorce! You also need secrets, and she has plenty. Secrets that’ll be exposed later.”
That comment offers some interesting clues as well. Paulina is apparently divorced, so it shouldn’t long until she takes an interest in the handsome Abe. As for these secrets of Paulina’s, it’ll be interesting to find out what those are down the road,
Harry’s murder mention is also intriguing since someone just showed up to shoot Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) at his apartment. It might be a stretch for Paulina to fit in Charlie’s murder mystery, but you never know considering she’ll show up almost immediately after it goes down.
Anything’s possible if Charlie lived in Miami at some point and got on Paulina’s bad side. We know Paulina has a daughter named Chanel (Precious Way) who’ll pop up eventually, so perhaps she was a target of Charlie’s once upon a time.
It’s worth considering under the circumstances, but we’ll just have to see how things play out!
As for what’ll happen when Paulina first shows up, she’ll visit the twins and become their doting godmother. There’ll be some fun scenes as Paulina finds some good reasons to stay in town and give her bank account another boost.
