Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will come home for the holidays without Sarah Horton (last played by Linsey Godfrey), so Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will demand answers about his missing ex.
DOOL fans know Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) came up with a creative solution back when she was masquerading as Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).
Kristen wasn’t ready for her secret to come out yet, so she drugged Sarah, stuffed her in a trunk and shipped her off to a deserted island.
Of course, Kristen had to make sure Xander wouldn’t look for Sarah or ask too many questions. That led to Kristen using a Sarah mask to make Xander think she cheated and ran off to start over with Rex.
In reality, Rex was dumped so fast it made his head spin! He left town without Sarah and will naturally return to Salem Sarah-less as well.
That’s going to confuse the heck out of Xander, who assumes Sarah has been living happily after with Rex all this time.
Days spoilers say Xander will be out for a stroll with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) as Christmas approaches. They’ll bump into Rex, so Xander will try to be polite and will ask where Sarah is.
Rex will naturally wonder how he’s supposed to know. He’ll point out that Sarah changed her mind and split from him all over again, but that won’t make any sense to Xander.
Xander will recap the story as he knows it and argue that even Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) believes Sarah and Rex are together.
Rex won’t know what Xander’s talking about since his reunion with Sarah barely lasted a day.
Rex has been off working on a Doctors Without Borders assignment that was secretly arranged by Kristen, so he hasn’t heard from Sarah in many months.
DOOL’s winter preview shows an agitated Xander demanding to know where Sarah is.
Xander will suddenly grow quite concerned about Sarah’s disappearance – and so will Gwen since she’ll be keeping a huge secret about Sarah’s circumstances.
Gwen’s on the verge of helping Kristen escape, so she’ll hope that’s enough to keep the Sarah secret buried.
What Gwen won’t count on is Rex coming back to town and stirring up alarming questions for Xander!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will soon be determined to get some answers, so Gwen will land in an even tighter spot.
