Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that the news of an EJ DiMera recast allows some puzzle pieces to come together. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will still be keeping up her Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) charade when she stumbles upon a secret.
It’ll be something major that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) are keeping under wraps together.
DOOL fans have also been seeing Lucas and Sami reconnect lately. They’ve been growing closer through the Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) investigation and their mutual desire to protect their daughter, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
Of course, there’s always going to be something that draws Sami and Lucas back together anyway. They’re exes and that’s just the sort of thing that happens on a soap!
It doesn’t look like this secret Kristen finds out will involve the murder case. Both Sami and Allie are innocent – at least when it comes to actually pulling the trigger.
There’s really nothing much Kristen could use against Lucas and Sami when it comes to that whole situation. However, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will indeed gain some blackmail material, so what’s it going to be?
Now that we have confirmation on an EJ recast making a comeback, it definitely points in the direction of cheating.
It seems likely Kristen will stumble across a steamy moment and realize Sami’s betraying EJ behind his back. Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’ll be some interesting layers to all this if that’s the case. Kristen is EJ’s sister, so she should be outraged on her brother’s behalf.
Kristen may think it’s appalling that Sami couldn’t stay loyal to EJ, who’s been fighting to recover and reunite with her in every way. Nevertheless, EJ’s been trying to get back to his old self for quite some time.
There have been lots of setbacks, so Sami has to be lonely and feeling neglected – even though it’s not EJ’s fault.
Now that Sami’s connected with Lucas again, the setup seems clear. Lucas and Sami are likely going to reignite their spark, get blackmailed over it and then have to face vengeful EJ’s wrath once he finds out.
Kristen will vow to expose Sami and Lucas’ secret if they expose the Susan switch, so that’ll give her some leverage. Days spoilers say Lucas and Sami will even have to plot against Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) due to Kristen’s demands.
Nevertheless, Kristen’s Susan scheme won’t last forever. Whether Sami and Lucas are the ones to blow this for her or not, Kristen could still rat them out to EJ later.
Once Kristen’s plan falls apart, she may inform EJ that Sami’s been sleeping with Lucas and watch the chaotic fallout.
