Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, January 28, tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will arrive for her appointment with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and insist she wants to move forward with hypnosis.
Marlena will want to be sure Allie’s prepared to relive her London trauma, but Allie will feel like it’ll be worth it as long as she remembers the whole truth.
Once Marlena walks Allie through what’s going to happen, she’ll put Allie under and take her back to that horrible night. DOOL fans will see newly created flashbacks that show things happened just as Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) said on his end.
Tripp took Allie back to her flat after she had too much to drink at the club. From there, Allie planted a kiss before Tripp pushed her away.
Allie will also recall what went down after she got undressed and let Tripp put her to bed. Tripp left a note just like he claimed, but Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) came along and swiped that note. Allie was still pretty out of it, but she’ll remember waking up and seeing Charlie hovering above her bed.
As the hypnosis flashbacks continue, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will recall how Charlie grabbed her arms and held her down. After Allie was assaulted, she passed out and Charlie got dressed.
We’ll see that Charlie sat on Allie’s bed following the assault looking guilty before he ultimately took off without a trace.
Of course, Allie won’t know about that last part, but Days will be giving viewers the full picture of what went down. Once all Allie’s memories return, Marlena will bring her back to the present. Allie will snap to reality again and finally face the weight of those truly terrible memories.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will sob in Marlena’s arms as she tries to deal with such a traumatic experience. It’ll definitely bring some tough emotions for Allie, but she’ll know for a fact that Charlie is the rapist and deserves to pay for it.
Over with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), she’ll have a fierce showdown with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) in the town square. Gwen will undoubtedly throw their sister connection in Abigail’s face to rile her up even further. As Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) looks on, Abigail will deck Gwen and enjoy every minute of it.
Other Days spoilers state that Charlie will connect with someone surprising on Thursday. It’s easy to imagine Gwen crossing paths with Charlie since she’ll also appear in this episode. Gwen believes she’s the child Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) abandoned – all while Abigail was the apple of her father’s eye.
That sounds an awful lot like Charlie’s story since he also feels discarded and has what he views a golden sibling. It’s possible Gwen will share her struggles and give Charlie an opportunity to open up about his situation with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Tripp.
Whatever the case, Charlie will get an interesting scene partner to bond with in Thursday’s show.
As for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), he’ll confide in Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) about what’s in his heart. After munching on some Chinese takeout as a nod to his history with Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), Ben will admit he feels like Ciara is alive.
He’ll confess that he’s been unable to let go because he still feels Ciara’s presence somehow.
Ben will decide that if there’s even a slim chance that Ciara is out there somewhere, he has to try finding her. Soon after, DOOL fans will see that Ben’s right. Thursday’s episode will show Ciara in captivity, so it’ll be nice to see Victoria Konefal back in the role – as more than a vision this time!
Ciara’s captor is named Rhodes (Jason Downs) and works for Vincent Belman (Michael Teh), so he’s under strict orders to hold Ciara until the boss says otherwise. Despite Ciara’s desperate pleas, she’ll have no choice but to stay put for now. As other Days news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you in the loop.
