Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tuesday, April 6 Recap – Chanel’s Agenda Infuriates Theo – Claire Cabin Fire Starter, Ciara Freaks

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 6, reveals that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) remained on cloud nine over the news that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) had agreed to be hypnotized.

Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) invited Ben to wait outside Ciara’s hospital room during the session, so Ben took her up on the offer and decided to invite Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), too.

In the town square, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) enjoyed lunch with Claire and assured her that it was his treat. Claire was grateful since she was a bit strapped for cash right now.

Claire admitted she nearly got stuck paying some crazy girl’s check, but she didn’t end up revealing the girl’s name.

Theo also gushed about how great it was to have Ciara back, so Claire asked if he still had feelings for her. Theo wondered why Claire would ask that and did his best to downplay things, but Claire kept pushing.

Claire hoped Theo remembered that Ciara was married, so Theo insisted he doesn’t have amnesia like Ciara.

However, Theo flashed back to comforting Ciara in the hospital – and then telling Ben he was just happy to have his friend back. After Claire got a call from Ben and dashed off to the hospital, Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) was excited to see that room service had delivered lunch to her mom’s room.

Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) swatted Chanel’s hand away and insisted this setup was for a business meeting.

Paulina insisted Chanel needed to make herself scarce for the next few hours and focus on finding a job. Chanel grumbled before leaving Paulina alone and met Abe Carver (James Reynolds) in the square nearby.

Theo told Abe about dating Chanel in South Africa, so Abe thought it was quite a coincidence that they had run into each other in Salem.

Once Abe showed up at Paulina’s hotel room, she hoped he liked ribeye. Abe thought that was a bit heavy for lunch and wasn’t all that hungry anyway.

Abe didn’t really understand the purpose of this meeting, but Paulina suggested it was all about sharing a much grander vision for the Horton Town Square.

Paulina had plans to turn it into an indoor marketplace and concentrate on helping with the lack of diversity. She felt like it would boost Salem’s image since the town was mostly known for murder, scandal and a high divorce rate!

Abe wasn’t sure that was fair to say, but he did agree this was a solid plan. He just didn’t know how he was supposed to fit in.

Paulina confessed that since the town square was a historic site, it wasn’t zoned for this type of building. She needed the mayor to sign off on this, so Abe suggested Paulina wanted him to break the zoning laws for her.

Paulina argued it’d just be bending the rules and kept trying to sell him on the idea. She wanted to know if they had a deal.

In Ciara’s room later, Marlena pointed out that she’d be taking Ciara back a few years. She warned Ciara that she might face some good memories as well as some bad ones.

Ciara was OK with that and insisted she wanted to remember since it was the only way to move on with her life.

After Marlena put Ciara under, she said they were going back to the summer of Ciara’s accident – the summer of 2018. Ciara recalled being upset and riding her motorbike after finding Claire with Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams).

Ciara remembered skidding, knowing she was going to crash and everything going black.

When Marlena pushed Ciara to remember what came next, Ciara couldn’t. Marlena urged Ciara to go back to that cabin in the woods, so Ciara recalled being asleep and something waking her up.

“No, no, no…” Ciara said as she breathed heavily. She flashed back to smoke filling the cabin as flames surrounded her and started freaking out over being trapped.

Since Ciara was basically having a panic attack, Marlena had no choice but to break her out of the trance. Ciara learned that the fire didn’t happen immediately after the accident – that it came a little later.

Ciara quickly latched onto the idea that Ben must’ve set the fire, but Marlena insisted it was someone else.

When Ciara wanted to know who was responsible, Marlena tried to avoid telling her since Ciara was so vulnerable. Ciara felt she’d be even more vulnerable if Marlena didn’t tell her the truth.

If Marlena didn’t come clean, Ciara suggested she hadn’t forgotten how to look stuff up on the Internet. Marlena warned Ciara wasn’t going to like this before revealing that Claire was the one who set the fire.

Outside near the waiting area, Ben wondered what was taking so long in there. Claire felt Marlena would’ve stopped the session if it wasn’t working. She assured Ben that she had a good feeling about the hypnosis.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire’s going to face Ciara’s fury again by midweek, so that’s sure to be a tough blow!

At Julie’s Place, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) interrupted Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) conversation with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Xander was already drunk and wanted yet another drink, so he almost caused a big scene before Jack dragged him out of there.

Jack wanted to take Xander back to his room, but Xander insisted that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) was in there. After Jack pointed out that wasn’t real, Xander admitted he knew.

It was still hard for Xander, who felt no one would ever love Sarah the way he did. Xander pulled out a bottle of booze he’d stolen from Julie’s Place and urged Jack to leave if he wasn’t going to drink with him.

At Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) place on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, they continued to debate whether they should accept Paulina’s extremely generous gift.

Lani admitted her mom, Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo), sent almost every gift back to Paulina when she was growing up.

Eli recalled Lani’s story about the pony and argued this wasn’t the same thing. This was about their children’s future – and Eli felt it would take a lot of the pressure off if they already had the twins’ college fund squared away.

Lani was still worried about feeling indebted to Paulina, but Eli ultimately talked her into accepting Paulina’s offer.

Back with Chanel, she sat down with Theo and found out he’d probably be headed back to South Africa in a few days. Chanel wanted to with Theo and move in with him.

She tried to argue fate had brought them back together, but Theo was suspicious and felt Chanel must be working an angle. Theo felt like they’d already decided they weren’t compatible as a couple and especially not as roommates.

When Lani and Eli appeared, it led to some surprising revelations all around. Theo was stunned to learn Chanel was Lani’s cousin – and Chanel was equally stunned to learn Theo was Lani’s brother.

Chanel worried this meant they were related, but Lani shut down that idea since she was related to Theo through her dad’s side and to Chanel through her mom’s side.

Theo found out about Paulina cutting off Chanel’s credit cards and was immediately upset over the news. He knew this must be why Chanel suddenly wanted to try again and get a place together, so he stormed off over her hidden agenda.

Chanel lashed out at Lani for spilling about Paulina cutting her off and stomped off as well.

Back in Paulina’s hotel suite, Abe decided he was on board with Paulina’s plan and held out his hand to shake on the deal. Paulina insisted they could do better than that and argued she was a firm believer in mixing business with pleasure.

Paulina went in for a hug just before Lani and Eli made things awkward with their arrival.

Before Abe left on Tuesday’s Days episode, he told Paulina would be in touch. That left Eli and Lani to offer updates on their decision to accept Paulina’s offer about the twins’ college tuition.

Paulina was overjoyed to know Lani and Eli were finally willing to embrace her christening present.

As for Chanel, she bumped into plastered Xander as he lounged on a park bench. Xander called Chanel “sweetheart,” so she snapped at him before apologizing.

Since Chanel was having a bad day, Xander invited her to drink with him and noted that misery loves company.
