Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 14, teases that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will save hostage John Black (Drake Hogestyn) while Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) fights the divorce EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) suggested. Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will also turn to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) after a heated run-in with Sami, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
At the cabin, John will assure Ben that Marlena’s been feeding him nothing but lies.
John will want Ben to understand that Marlena isn’t herself right now since the devil’s set up shop inside her body. Before John can offer an explanation, possessed Marlena will put John in a chokehold from across the room.
After Marlena releases John, he’ll barrel toward her and try to stop the devil in his tracks.
Ben will still believe Marlena’s tale of abuse, so he’ll decide to knock John unconscious and tie him to a chair. Marlena will even convince Ben to put a gag in John’s mouth so he can’t call for help!
Meanwhile, Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will trade shocking info with Shawn, who was glad to see her back at her apartment.
Shawn will tell Ciara that Marlena’s been possessed again, so she’ll suddenly realize there were wicked intentions behind the doc’s push for her to get pregnant.
Ciara will struggle to wrap her head around Marlena’s horrible secret and how close this sinister force has been to her unborn child.
Shawn will want Ciara to stay put for her baby’s protection, but he’ll soon race to the cabin and give John some backup.
Ben will be confused as he’s on the way out the door with Marlena. Days spoilers say Shawn will arrive and reveal that the devil himself is in that very room!
As the truth starts to sink in for Ben, the devil will deepen Marlena’s voice and let her eyes glow yellow.
Ben’s jaw is sure to drop once Marlena admits she’s indeed possessed and has big plans for the bun in Ciara’s oven.
Next on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Sami will mark her territory and make it clear that Nicole needs to back off her man.
Although Sami is the last person Nicole wants to see right now, Salem is a small town where accidental encounters are common.
Sami may not mind this encounter too much since it’ll give her a chance to lash out. She’ll basically warn Nicole to find someone else’s husband to steal since EJ is off-limits – at least as far as Sami’s concerned.
Sami is still technically married to EJ and doesn’t intend to give him the divorce he wants.
While Sami and Nicole are sparring again, EJ will take Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) home with him. They’ll make a strange discovery on the floor, so it’ll be interesting to see what that’s all about.
Regardless, Susan will pick up on EJ’s torn heart after he shares the news of Sami’s return. She’ll think it was awful for Sami to cheat on EJ, but she’ll also hate seeing him in pain now.
Susan would rather see EJ move on with someone who appreciates him, but she should be willing to support a reunion if it makes him happy.
The problem is EJ’s not certain of what he wants anymore. That’s why Sami will hope she can use this sliver of hope to get the reunion she has in mind.
Sami will show up with divorce papers eventually, but she’ll be prepared to rip them up and will plan a kiss on EJ within the next episode or two.
As for Nicole, she’ll be in a foul mood following her latest showdown with Sami.
Days spoilers say Nicole will turn to Rafe in the aftermath, but that’ll bring some surprising tension. There’ll be a bit of a setback after Rafe offends Nicole, but it looks like they’ll work through the upcoming conflict quickly.
