Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tuesday, October 19 Recap – Philip Catches Chloe & Brady Together – Chanel Accepts Movie Role

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 19, reveals that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) caught Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) at the Salem Inn together while Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) accepted a movie role. Let’s talk about all Tuesday’s Days action.

At Basic Black, Chloe filled Brady in on her decision to move out of the Kiriakis mansion. Chloe clarified that she didn’t break up with Philip since she wasn’t ready to give up on him yet.

Brady insisted he just wanted Chloe to be happy and offered to let her move in with him.

Chloe didn’t think that was a good idea since Philip already lost it over them working together. She thought it’d be better to keep their own separate residences and revealed that she’d be staying at the Salem Inn.

While Brady was helping Chloe take her luggage to her hotel room, Philip sulked on a bench outside the pub. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) came along and suggested she’d feel sorry for Philip if he didn’t already have that covered.

Chloe thought Philip should have some dignity and accept things were over with Chloe.

Kate hated to see Chloe hurting Philip over and over again, but Philip argued it was the other way around and explained how he kept losing it over Brady.

Inside the pub, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) informed Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) that he’d decided to back out of his movie investment for Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) sake.

When Kate came in with Philip, she handed him over to Lucas for advice and wanted a drink. Roman seemed distant as he said he’d get right on that.

Lucas found out about the latest Chloe drama and thought Philip should give her space, but Kate argued Philip should give her the heave-ho instead!

After Philip and Lucas left on Tuesday’s Days episode, Roman was rather snarky with Kate. He wound up complaining since he at least thought they could stay friends, but she wasn’t treating him like one.

Kate ultimately admitted she was afraid Roman would say “I told you so” since he was right about Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).

Roman assured Kate that he wasn’t the type to do that, but Kate still feared she was too screwed up to start anything up again. Until Kate was ready to move on, Roman was willing to respect her wishes and give her more space.

Roman let Kate know she could take all the time she needed since she’d be worth the wait, so Kate smiled over Roman’s patience and thoughtfulness.

As Brady helped Chloe take her luggage into the Salem Inn, Lucas and Philip appeared in the distance.

Philip looked jealous once again at the sight of his girlfriend and her ex entering a hotel together!

In her bedroom on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) finished becoming one with the devil and was reading in bed by the time John Black (Drake Hogestyn) entered.

John noticed Marlena was wearing sunglasses, but she argued that there was a glare from the lamp.

This made John remember the last time Marlena claimed to have a problem with her eyes and wore sunglasses. The devil was actually trying to hide himself back then, so John pushed Marlena to remove her sunglasses now.

Marlena acted hurt over John accusing her of being possessed and finally removed the sunglasses to show her eyes weren’t glowing. “Are you satisfied?” Marlena snapped.

John apologized, but he still felt like Marlena had changed in general. He mentioned Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) news about Marlena extending Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) no-visitor order.

John demanded to know why Marlena would do that, but Marlena defended her decision and insisted she was the one in charge of the case, not Kayla.

John backed off and went to make dinner, but he was obviously still uneasy. Once Marlena was alone, the devil said let her eyes glow again and revealed he was powerful enough to change his appearance.

However, John remained suspicious – and the devil thought that could be a problem.

At home, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) explained the contract situation to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and said she wouldn’t sign unless Marlena approved.

When Tripp learned Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) favorite blanket needed stitching up, he insisted the boy scout in him came prepared. Tripp used a needle and thread to fix the blanket up, so Allie enjoyed feeling domestic with him.

In the town square, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) told Chanel that Marlena was actually excited about the movie. Chanel worried that maybe Johnny guilted his grandma into it, but Johnny denied that and thought Marlena could convince John to come around.

Johnny didn’t see what the big deal was anyway since Marlena was possessed so many years ago. “It’s not like she’s possessed by the devil today,” Johnny said.

Next, Johnny stopped by to see Allie along with Chanel. When Johnny saw Tripp’s sewing work, he offered a screen credit in exchange for helping with the costumes – though he couldn’t offer payment. Tripp declined since he was busy saving lives and all that!

Allie was surprised to learn Marlena was on board with the movie. Once Allie realized this was really happening, she thought it was a little weird.

Allie spent her whole life trying not to become her mother and was now planning to play her in the film.

Once Allie was alone with Tripp, she saw that he’d sown Henry’s initials onto his blanket. Allie was touched, so she said Tripp was amazing and gave him a big kiss.

Back with Chanel, she finally decided she was willing to play Celeste Perrault (Tanya Boyd) in Johnny’s movie.

Chanel liked the idea of being the first person who could see evil coming when everyone else didn’t.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say the devil will remain a troublemaker, so don’t miss what’s ahead on DOOL.
