Days of Our Lives Spoilers Update: Monday, April 5 – Ben & Ciara’s Hearts Tied Together – Jan’s Sacrifice Scores Freedom

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, April 5, teases that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will reflect on that gunshot he heard and what it really means. John just confessed to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), but she may point out that hearing a gunshot and firing it aren’t the same thing.

Marlena won’t want John getting himself all worked up for no reason, but he’ll worry he might’ve taken justice into his own hands that night. Without John’s missing memories of that night, he has no way of knowing if he’s guilty or not.

While John dwells on what he might’ve done, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will think back on that murder night as well.

Although there’s no indication that Tripp actually killed Charlie Dale (Mike Manning), he was indeed at that apartment while Charlie was bleeding out on the floor.

Tripp did nothing to help his half-brother, so that’s no doubt why he looks so guilty whenever the murder’s mentioned.

DOOL viewers know Tripp was poised to make an admission on Friday, April 2, but will he actually confess to Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) on Monday?

Days spoilers hint that Tripp might offer his version of events, including how he just left Charlie there for dead. Then again, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) was just cleared in the murder investigation.

It probably won’t be long until Sami calls or even stops by Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) apartment. Before Tripp can confide in Allie, Sami may show up and leave Tripp realizing he doesn’t have to spill anything.

Allie will soon have a reason to celebrate thanks to Sami’s big news. There’ll be some joyful moments for this newly freed mother and the daughter she’s set to reunite with.

As for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), she’ll beg Nicole to keep the secret she just shared under wraps.

Ava hesitated before telling dying Charlie she loved him and isn’t even sure she meant it. Although Ava’s battling some complicated feelings and guilt now, her main concern is Tripp.

Ava never told Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) her side of the story because she saw Tripp exiting before she went in. She’ll worry to Nicole that Tripp might’ve been the murderer, but she’ll hate the idea of being separated by prison.

Now that Ava finally has Tripp in her life, she won’t want to lose him.

From one mother to another, Ava will plead with Nicole to stay silent – and it looks like Nicole will make that promise for the time being.

Across town, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) just won’t be able to stay away from Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). Ben knows Ciara doesn’t want him around – not with her head anyway. Even so, Ben will feel like their hearts are tied together.

Ciara will feel a strange pull to Ben on Monday, April 5, so that’ll be disturbing on some level. It’ll be weird for Ciara to feel a bond with the necktie killer when she can’t even remember their love story.

Nevertheless, Ben’s love will radiate out of him in this moment and leave Ciara feeling drawn to him despite her amnesia. After Ben crosses paths with Ciara near the desk by the waiting area, there’ll be a connection between them that can’t be denied.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will eventually decide she’s willing to give hypnosis a shot, so she’ll summon Marlena to give it a shot soon.

In the meantime, Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will want John behind bars for trying to strangle her death.

Belle Brady (Martha Madison) won’t want John to land at Statesville, so she’ll come up with an alternative that’d leave Jan a free woman, too.

Since Jan held Belle at gunpoint, Days fans know Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) is ready and willing to arrest her.

Belle will point out that if Jan refuses to press charges against John, then Belle will return the favor. Belle will be willing to trade John’s freedom for Jan’s, but John will object to this plan.

Once Belle delivers updates, John will insist there’s no deal! He’d rot in prison for the rest of his life if it meant keeping Belle and her family safe from twisted Jan.

Of course, Belle’s the lawyer here and the one in the position to make things happen. She’ll go against John’s wishes and draw up the paperwork, so Jan will be able to look it over in her hospital room.

Although Jan will like the thought of getting off the hook, she’ll loathe the idea of John getting away with what he did. Jan will wish there was a way to stay free and still make John suffer, but Belle will insist this is the only option that benefits them both.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jan will scowl as she signs on the dotted line and makes this agreement official. Fortunately, this means Jan can stick around Salem for a while and stir up some DOOL chaos!
