Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 24, teases that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) sizzling surrender will play out while Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs) does some baby bonding. Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will also face a disappointing setback, so here’s what viewers can expect.
First, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) won’t be sure how to respond to Tripp’s first “I love you.” Allie certainly wasn’t expecting to hear those three little words so fast – and she’s not really ready to say them back yet either.
That’ll bring some uncomfortable moments as Allie tries to figure out how to handle this without hurting Tripp’s feelings too much.
Tripp may assure Allie that he just wanted to let her know what was in his heart. He would never want to pressure Allie in any way, but he’ll still be disappointed over the awkwardness that’s about to ensue.
Over with Chanel and Johnny, they’ll feel the heat rising between them. Johnny definitely liked the kiss Chanel planted, but things will take another passionate turn on Tuesday’s DOOL episode.
Chanel and Johnny don’t seem to mind the idea of rushing into bed with attractive people, so perhaps they’ll go ahead and hook up. Regardless, there’ll be a magnetic pull for these two – and Chanel will appreciate the distraction from her feelings for Allie.
Chanel may think “Giovanni” is just the guy to help her get over her bestie, but she won’t realize Johnny and Allie are siblings!
Other Days spoilers say Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will offer her gratitude to Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) now that he’s out on bail.
Gwen will be surprised that Xander was willing to get arrested for her sake, but that just proves how much Xander cares about Gwen and her bond with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
One thing will lead to another for Gwen and Xander on Tuesday, so look for these two to make love. Xander will assure Gwen that her secrets are safe with him, so she’ll appreciate having someone she can trust and rely on.
This could be the beginning of a real romance, but Gwen won’t get by with deceiving Jack forever.
Gwen lied about the timing of her miscarriage so that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) would be blamed – and she’s lying about her involvement with Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) as well.
The pressure will get to Gwen and lead to a confession down the road, but she’ll focus on enjoying her passionate encounter with Xander for now.
As for Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), she’ll be thrilled when Abe Carver (James Reynolds) wants to repair their relationship. Paulina will likely promise that she’s learned her lesson and won’t make any more trouble for the people she loves.
Of course, there’s bound to be more drama since Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) warned Paulina not to keep any more secrets from her.
Days fans know Lani’s done with all the lies, but Paulina’s still sitting on the biggest one of all since she isn’t actually Lani’s aunt.
Paulina is Lani’s bio mom, so that’ll be a devastating blow for Lani in the months ahead. In the meantime, Olivia will pay Jules Grant and Carver Grant a visit.
Olivia will gush over her great-grandchildren and pray Lani never finds out the revelation that could tear their whole family apart.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani and Paulina’s bond will be shattered all over again once the truth inevitably comes out.
