Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 20, teases that Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will have a pre-wedding request for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will also leave for Africa while Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) distracts EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel), so here’s what Days has coming up.
Now that Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) has returned to the apartment, she’ll want to give Eric her side of the story. Nicole will talk about how lonely she was without Eric and how she lost hope in sharing a life together.
Eric neglected Nicole with all his trip extensions to the point that she wasn’t even sure they had a marriage anymore.
There’s no denying that Eric bears some responsibility in his relationship problems, but Nicole has to own the fact that she cheated – and with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) of all people!
Eric will try to work through the rage he’s feeling and listen to Nicole’s perspective.
Although Eric and Nicole will understand each other’s point of view, this betrayal is an awfully big mountain to climb.
Eric just won’t see how they can remain a couple at this point, so he’ll kiss Nicole goodbye and head back to Africa for the foreseeable future.
Days spoilers say some sad scenes are on the way, especially for “Ericole” fans.
While Nicole suffers through that tough farewell, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will reconvene with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and discuss the anniversary party disaster.
Nicole feels certain that Sami arranged for Xander to make a mess of things – and DOOL viewers know she’s right about that.
Philip and Lucas have been trying to settle on the ideal person to give EJ the letter, but Philip will think she should look no further than vengeful Nicole! It’ll be obvious to Philip that Nicole’s the best person for the job.
However, Lucas may battle second thoughts about using that letter to derail things. Does Lucas really want to win Sami by default once her marriage implodes?
It seems Lucas will opt to pour his heart out to Sami and try to get her to choose him instead.
Philip won’t think it’s wise to pass up this letter opportunity, especially when Nicole’s ready to fight back.
That’s why Philip will take matters into his own hands and make sure Nicole winds up with the letter before the week’s over on Thursday, July 22.
Until then, Sami will have to get EJ’s mind on other things. EJ’s suspicious due to Nicole’s hint about Sami’s sin, but Sami will hide the truth and perhaps distract EJ with lovemaking again.
At the DiMera mansion, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will get another visit from Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) along with some updates on the impending nuptials.
Ciara managed to get an annulment, so she’s no longer married to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and can marry Theo ASAP like she wants.
Theo should spread that news along with Ciara, who’ll hope Allie is willing to be her maid of honor again.
Days spoilers say Allie will accept the position, but she’ll secretly oppose this Ciara and Theo wedding. Look for Allie to team up with Ben and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) on a plot to keep Ciara from tying the knot.
Allie will start by trying to help Ciara recall her first wedding ceremony with Ben, but Ciara won’t be facing a rush of memories just yet.
Even if there’s a flash or some hint of the past, Ciara will concentrate on her future with Theo for now.
That future’s going to be cut short thanks to Ben’s drastic kidnapping plan and the chaos that’ll follow! Days of Our Lives spoilers say some wild stuff’s brewing in Ben and Ciara’s love story, so stay tuned.
