Days of Our Lives (DOOL) update for Tuesday, May 4, teases that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will take some soup to Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) in bed. Chloe will fret over Lucas since she believes he’s dying of a brain tumor, but she’ll refuse to give up on getting a second opinion.
As Lucas slurps his soup and sees the sympathetic look in Chloe’s eyes, he’ll face more guilt than ever. It’ll be tough to lie right to Chloe’s face, but Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) has convinced Lucas that Chloe’s life is at stake.
To be fair, Days of Our Lives fans know Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has pulled a gun on Chloe before – and she’ll soon deliver even more threats. Kristen will be in her Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) disguise as she confronts Sami on Tuesday’s DOOL episode.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will want Chloe to be dealt with immediately. She’ll be tired of waiting on Sami’s slow-moving plan to get Chloe out of the way, so she may suggest a deadly alternative!
Sami won’t want to murder Chloe or let Kristen do it either for that matter. She’ll assure Kristen that everything’s under control and will push for just a bit more time.
Even so, Kristen will want to make sure things are moving in the right direction. She’ll force Sami to get Lucas on the phone and perhaps put another phase of the plot in motion.
Days spoilers say Sami will get in touch with Lucas and warn him to stay on track. She won’t want Lucas blabbing to Chloe or acting suspicious if he can help it. Chloe will continue to believe Lucas is facing a deadly outcome, but Sami will go to extremes and set herself up to get busted before the week’s over.
Back with “Susan,” she’ll get updates on a birthday present that Chloe passed along for Rachel Black (Josephine and Rosalind May). Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will be touched over the gift and will no doubt gush to “Susan” about how Rachel’s going to love it.
“Susan” will surprise Brady by flying into a rage over this present, so he’ll wonder what the problem is. This could lead to “Susan” hurling some harsh accusations about Chloe and her agenda. “Susan” may insist Chloe is trying to manipulate the situation and steal Kristen’s spot as Rachel’s mommy.
Naturally, Brady won’t agree with that – and he won’t understand why “Susan” is so outraged, especially on Kristen’s behalf. Days of Our Lives viewers will see Kristen cover as best as she can, but she’ll really be fuming!
Next, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will remain drawn to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). After more sparks fly, Rafe will almost lock lips with Ava again before he wonders what they’re doing exactly. Ava will think they need to discuss the nature of their relationship as well, so Rafe will admit he’s interested.
When Rafe asks Ava on a proper date, she’ll think going to dinner together sounds great. In the meantime, Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will talk to Chloe about her complicated feelings for Rafe.
Although Nicole will know it’s wrong considering she’s married, she can’t help but feel drawn to Rafe – and jealous of his new connection to Ava.
Chloe may think that’s perfectly normal under the circumstances. Eric has been gone for quite some time, so Chloe might argue that Nicole’s feeling lonely and abandoned.
Nicole will end up talking to Rafe about her jealousy later in the week, so that’ll give them a chance to clear the air and figure out what they really mean to each other.
Until then, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will urge Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to believe her over Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). Gwen just accused Abigail of shoving her down that staircase on purpose and is blaming Abigail for the death of her baby.
Abigail will once again insist it was an accident, but Chad will take Gwen at her word and assume Abigail really did give her half-sister a push. Of course, Abigail will be deeply hurt when her own husband sides with the woman he cheated with!
As for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), he believed Gwen when she said Laura Horton’s (Jaime Lyn Bauer) death was an accident. Jack will be a hypocrite if he doesn’t believe his other daughter now, so he’ll have to handle Abigail’s situation carefully.
Sadly, it seems even Jack will lean more toward believing Gwen since Abigail’s been so full of rage. Abigail will be livid with Gwen for manipulating the people she loves and turning her life upside down once again.
Gwen will be more concerned about making Abigail pay, so she may insist she wants criminal charges filed ASAP. It looks like this will become a police matter soon enough, so Gwen’s lies will make a major mess!
