Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, February 10, teases that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will arrive to find a shocking scene in Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) hotel room.
After Gwen calls Jack over, she’ll open the door and reveal the aftermath of her confrontation with Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer).
When Jack looks down on the floor and sees Laura bleeding from a gash on her head, he’ll immediately freak out. Jack will scramble to stoop down and check Laura’s pulse.
Jack will probably shout about how they have to call paramedics, but Gwen will insist it’s too late for that. Jack won’t find any signs of life, so he’ll have to agree that Laura’s dead and gone.
From there, Gwen and Jack will have to decide their next move. Jack will naturally want to know what happened, so he’ll push Gwen to be honest with him. Jack has been insisting that’s the only way a relationship between them can work.
Will Gwen indeed tell Jack the truth about her fatal encounter with Laura? What exactly IS the truth since it transpired off screen? Gwen got pretty nasty as she grabbed Laura and growled about wanting revenge.
Gwen refused to let Laura get away with her past mistakes, but Gwen has clearly made another big one of her own.
Now it just comes down to whether this was an accidental death or if Gwen intended to kill Laura. It seems likely Gwen just lunged at Laura without thinking – or perhaps backed her into a corner and caused a deadly tumble.
Of course, it’s also possible Gwen thought she wanted to kill Laura in that moment and now regrets it.
Whatever the case, Jack will hope for the real story from Gwen. Once Gwen tells her side of things, she’ll deliver a tearful plea. Gwen will feel like if Jack genuinely cares and wants to be there for her, then he’ll help her now.
Gwen can’t build a relationship with Jack if she’s in prison, so she’ll beg Jack to fix this somehow.
Jack has been battling tremendous regret over the difficulties Gwen’s had to go through, so he’ll make a risky decision.
We have to remember that Laura is Jennifer Devereaux’s (Cady McClain) mother as well as Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and JJ Deveraux’s (Casey Moss) grandmother.
Laura is a beloved family member, so it’s a big deal that Jack’s about to lie for Gwen – the woman who’s targeted his loved ones and just led to Laura’s demise. Jack’s choosing his new daughter over the family he already knows and loves, which is part of why Gwen will soften toward Jack.
This will be the first time Gwen feels like a priority in Jack’s life, even if it’s not happening in the way she wanted or expected.
There’ll be a tender moment where Jack touches weepy Gwen’s face and perhaps promise he’s going to take care of her. Jack couldn’t do that in the past, but he can do it in the present.
The best thing Jack could probably do here is send Gwen away from the scene of the crime – or accident depending on the story Gwen offers. Jack might tell Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) that he went with Laura to Gwen’s suite.
Jack might claim it was unlocked and insist they started arguing before Gwen arrived.
Whatever the case, Jack will concoct an altered version of events in an attempt to keep Gwen out of trouble. He may argue that Laura tumbled while in the room with him alone.
Gwen might exit beforehand and make a point to return in front of Rafe. It’d give Gwen a chance to act surprised about the sight of Laura’s corpse.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe may think some things aren’t adding up here, but Gwen will be off the hook for now. Jack and Gwen will make a pact to keep the real story a secret, so Gwen will hope she can avoid landing in Statesville.
Next, Abigail will grant Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) wish and agree to move back in the DiMera mansion. Chad will be ecstatic, though he’ll know this doesn’t fix the problems in his marriage.
Even so, it’ll be a lot easier to win Abigail over if she’s in the same house. This could be a new beginning if Chad plays his cards right, so he won’t want to blow it.
In Chicago, Days spoilers say Vivian Alamin (Linda Dano) will pry an admission out of Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera). After Vivian questions Ivan about the noisy thumping on the walls of the townhouse, Ivan will have no choice but to come clean.
Ivan spill about how the twins are stolen and belong to Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) as well as her husband, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey).
Since armed Eli and Lani showed up, Ivan decided to manipulate them into handing over their weapons. He managed to trap Lani and Eli in one of the townhouse’s rooms, so Vivian will take in all this info and decide she knows what to do.
Vivian blames Lani for shooting Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) dead, so she’ll have no qualms about returning the favor. As for Eli, Vivian won’t mind the idea of killing Lani’s loyal hubby either. The main thing here will be ensuring that Vivian still gets to raise little Jacob and Stefania!
Vivian will refuse to let the babies be taken from her, so she’ll confront Eli and Lani at gunpoint. Once Vivian is disarmed in a struggle, she’ll be placed under arrest along with Ivan.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Vivian and Ivan will have to sit in their handcuffs while a family reunion plays out.
Eli, Lani, Carver Grant and Julia “Jules” Grant will all get a few moments together before Vivian and Ivan are taken to the Salem PD.
DOOL fans will see Vivian try to trick the cops into thinking she’s completely lost it. Vivian will make it seem like a mental break drove her to pull a gun over the twins.
