Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a new mystery is about to kick off in Salem. Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will panic after their babies are snatched from the nursery, so there’ll be a desperate search for the missing twins.
This creates some interesting questions for Days to answer. Who would want to steal Lani and Eli’s babies? Is this about revenge, wanting the twins or both? Where will the babies be held and how will the kidnapper get busted?
DOOL writers will have to answer all these questions and more, but let’s start by considering a great potential kidnapping culprit. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Linda Dano will make her debut as a Vivian Alamain recast in early 2021. We can’t ignore the timing of Vivian’s comeback under the circumstances.
Vivian nearly shot and killed Lani at her own wedding as payback for shooting Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). It’s clear that Vivian’s the kind of gal who likes to settle the score.
Vivian later downplayed the wedding drama since she suddenly had a son again. She met Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash), who now goes by Jake DiMera, and had high hopes for bonding with him.
Unfortunately, it’s obvious Jake is nothing like Vivian’s adored Stefan. Vivian had to fake her death to avoid prison, but it’s not like she and Jake would’ve really hit it off anyway.
They have nothing in common. Vivian even insulted the name “Jake” like it wasn’t dignified enough. Jake is basically a lost cause if Vivian’s looking for a sophisticated son she can groom to be a villain like her.
That brings us to why Vivian might kidnap Lani and Eli’s babies. Vivian had her own twins stolen from her, so why not start from scratch with two new babies? Perhaps Vivian plans to adopt them and raise them her own twisted way.
In addition to getting two new children to raise however she wants, Vivian would make Lani suffer for killing Stefan. Now that Vivian realizes Jake isn’t a good replacement, she may circle back to that vengeful attitude of hers.
Whether Vivian’s guilty or not, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani and Eli will have their work cut out for them cracking this case! Nevertheless, Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) and Lani will recognize the female kidnapper from a new sketch, so that still leaves Vivian as a possible kidnapping culprit.
