Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, April 14 Recap – Ciara Blames Ben For Eve’s Wedding Bomb – Daddy Chad Gets a Shock

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 14, reveals that Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) stopped by the DiMera mansion and was greeted happily by Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

After Chad offered updates on all the latest drama between Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), Theo was hopeful that Abigail and Chad could work out everything in their marriage.

Talk turned to Theo’s own romantic prospects, so he assumed Chad had heard the latest news about Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). Theo discussed how Ciara had amnesia when it came to the last few years.

Chad admitted that after everything Ben had done, he thought Chara could “do a hell of a lot better” – and that was something Theo agreed with Chad on.

Theo confessed he still had feelings for Ciara, but he acknowledged that she was married. Chad pointed out that if something happened between them and then Ciara got her memory back, he’d hate to see Theo get hurt. Theo noted it’d be a risk before beating Chad at chess and deciding to head out.

At the hospital on Wednesday’s Days episode, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) delivered some flowers and a card from Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), who was home sick with a cold.

Ciara was grateful to see Justin and for the gifts he brought. She opened the card and learned Victor thought not remembering Ben was the best thing that ever happened to her.

The card also mentioned how Victor and Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) weren’t able to attend Ciara’s wedding to Ben, which Victor thought was good since they could’ve been blown to smithereens.

Ciara pushed Justin to explain, so he reluctantly shared how Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) was responsible for a planted bomb.

Ciara realized it was because Ben killed Eve’s daughter and thought it was yet another example of how his past came back to haunt him. Ciara wondered how so many people – Justin included – could let her marry a serial killer.

Justin believed it was possible for someone to change, but Ciara didn’t think that was the case for someone like Ben. Although Justin didn’t want Ciara to feel pressured one way or the other, Ciara insisted she hated Ben and agreed with Victor about not remembering being the best possible thing for her.

Meanwhile, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) stopped by Ben’s place and found him drinking. Ben confessed that he tried to jog Ciara’s memory by telling her their love story, but it didn’t work – and neither did hypnosis.

Jake still thought Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) memory serum was worth a shot, but Ben pointed out the risks again and was hesitant to do something that might harm Ciara.

However, Jake argued that he took the serum and so did Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow), though it wasn’t willingly on her part. Since Ben was running out of options, Jake insisted he could at least call Kate and get a dose – just in case Ben wanted to use it.

Ben thought for a moment and told Jake to make the call. Once Ciara was asleep in her hospital room, Ben snuck in and prepared to use the loaded serum syringe. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben’s plan will soon end in disaster, so DOOL fans will want to stay tuned.

At Titan Industries, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) wanted to put business aside for a moment. Philip was interested in going on a real date with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), who was reluctant to accept.

Gabi admitted she was still a bit hung up on Jake, but in Philip’s experience the best way to get over someone was to start a new relationship.

Gabi thought that was a bit forward of Philip and insisted dinner was too much pressure. That said, Gabi had some time and was willing to do lunch. Philip gladly accepted Gabi’s alternative date idea and took her by the arm as they exited.

In the town square, Philip gave Gabi flowers right before Jake showed up and taunted them about Gabi Chic. Philip said business talk would have to wait until after their date.

At the Horton house, Abigail was in disbelief over Gwen’s pregnancy revelation. Gwen insisted it was true, but Abigail found it hard to believe that Gwen just now realized she was pregnant – unless Gwen has known for months and has just been waiting for the perfect moment to drop the bomb.

Gwen argued that she hasn’t always been that regular and that she’s been stressed out with everything going on.

Gwen assured Abigail that being pregnant with Chad’s child was the last thing she wanted, so Abigail suggested they could call the clinic right now and make an appointment for Gwen to terminate her pregnancy.

Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) wanted Abigail to give Gwen some time to process everything. Abigail stood her ground and insisted ending the pregnancy was the only way to minimize the horror. “And you damn well better do it, sis,” Abigail said before storming out.

Once Abigail made it back to the DiMera mansion, she quickly guzzled some booze. Chad warned Abigail since she wasn’t supposed to drink with her medications.

Chad didn’t think whatever happened could be that bad, but Abigail admitted Gwen was pregnant with Chad’s child and left him looking stunned.

Back with Jack on Wednesday’s Days episode, he assured Gwen that it was her decision when it came to what to do about her pregnancy. Jack wondered if Gwen wanted to have this baby – and she seemed to be strongly considering the possibility.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will indeed choose to keep Chad’s child next week, so don’t miss the drama ahead. CDL will have all the hottest Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news you need, so make us your top DOOL source.
