Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, September 8, teases that Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will find dead Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman) – and jailed Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will face another crisis. Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will also overhear a bombshell, so let’s discuss what’s next on DOOL.
For starters, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) spy games will continue.
Gabi will keep logging what happens on Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) computer, so that’ll give them access to a threatening email – one Philip will compose to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Belle will stop by Philip’s office and may find out about this vicious email he plans to pass along. She’s been trying to talk Philip off the ledge lately, so she may try once again.
Belle may scold Philip for not taking her advice when he flew to Pennsylvania and riled Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) up with his lack of trust.
It’ll just anger Chloe all over again if Philip sends Brady a hostile message – especially if it’s a deadly one! Belle may urge Philip to just forget it and cool off.
Unfortunately, Gabi and Jake will score that email whether Philip hits the send button or not. They’ll count on being able to use this against Philip, which could be exposing Philip’s sinister threat to Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) if need be.
However, Gabi and Jake will start by seeking out Brady in the coming episodes. Brady hates Philip’s guts, so Jake and Gabi will hope they can gain an ally and will show off this aggressive email when the time is right.
At Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) place, she’ll kick back with Abe, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) – but not for long!
Due to some Kiriakis mansion chaos, Eli and Lani won’t be able to stick around to finish their drinks. The detective duo will head over there ASAP, so Lani will have an eventful first day back from maternity leave.
Bonnie will have to put her wedding on hold since Xander’s demanding his money back.
Things will get tense, so Bonnie may even threaten Xander with that gun she’s hiding. She’d have a good reason to if Xander discovers Calista’s corpse and threatens to expose her.
However, Justin will corner Bonnie as she holds the murder weapon – and then he’ll see a blood Calista under the covers nearby.
Justin will push Bonnie to tell him what went down, so she’ll no doubt stammer about how it was an accident.
Bonnie didn’t murder Calista since the gun simply went off, but it’s doubtful the cops are going to believe her under the circumstances!
Days spoilers say Calista will be placed in a body bag and wheeled out. As for Eli, he’ll read Bonnie her rights and slap some handcuffs on her as they head down to the Salem PD.
While Justin tries to process this shocking turn of events, Abe will have to process a shocker of his own. He’ll overhear a stunning revelation – one that Paulina didn’t mean for Abe’s ears.
Paulina may be talking to herself, though Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs) and Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo) are other good options here.
This should involve a mention of Paulina being Lani’s mother or being the twins’ grandmother.
Abe will be baffled over what he listens in on, but he’ll eventually draw the wrong conclusion and give Paulina a chance to wiggle out of this jam.
It seems Abe will decide Paulina must be thinking of the future and what she’ll be to Lani and the twins if they tie the knot.
Days spoilers hint that Paulina can work with this stepmom angle – and it looks like that’s exactly what she’ll do as this conversation stretches from Wednesday into Thursday.
