Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview update for the week of April 5-9 teases that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will be full of some exciting new ideas. Paulina will have a plan in mind for the town square – as well as one for her own future with Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
As Paulina moves in close, she’ll let Abe know she’s a firm believer in mixing business with pleasure.
While we see the first romantic rumblings between Abe and Paulina, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will sense that Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) may still have feelings for Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal).
After Claire puts Theo on the spot by asking if that’s true, he may admit part of him will always love Ciara.
However, Claire will no doubt remind Theo that Ciara has a husband and that she’s hopefully going to remember him soon. Claire won’t want Theo to create heartache for himself by getting his hopes up.
Claire won’t want Theo making things any more complicated for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) either, so Theo may argue that he doesn’t intend to.
Of course, Theo could change his mind and make his move eventually! In the meantime, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will move forward with Ciara’s hypnosis session. Marlena will encourage Ciara to “see” the cabin in her mind – and Ciara will indeed remember being there.
Unfortunately, memories can be tricky, so this hypnosis plan will come with a twist outcome that doesn’t work out very well for Claire.
DOOL fans know Ciara hates Claire because of what happened with Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). Of course, that was long before Claire tried to set Ciara on fire!
There are far more and far better reasons for Ciara to hate Claire if she can remember them. Instead of recalling her great love for Ben, Ciara seems poised to recall Claire trying to barbeque her.
Days spoilers say Ciara will blast Claire after her hypnosis session, so it seems Ciara will only remember Claire as a fire-starter – not how she patched things up with Claire later or fell for Ben.
Over with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), he’ll be drunk on a park bench when Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) appears. Xander will still be having a rough time over Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) departure, so he’ll invite Chanel to be his drinking buddy.
Chanel won’t look too happy to Xander either, so he’ll suggest that misery loves company.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chanel will sit down and get to know Xander a bit better. They’ll hit it off as friends before Xander’s drunken bender continues. Xander will eventually wake up with a horrible hangover and some missing memories due to how plastered he was.
There’s a good chance Xander’s going to make some shocking moves involving Chanel that’ll come back to haunt him later!
In the meantime, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will divulge her marriage issues to Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), who’ll feel like EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is taking his wife for granted.
Sami moved heaven and earth to make her reunion with EJ happen. She’s done everything in her power to make sure EJ recovered following the warehouse fire, too.
Since EJ’s indeed better now and is still shutting Sami out, Lucas will find that appalling. He’ll think Sami deserves better and will end up kissing her as these exes reconnect.
Lucas and Sami won’t really know what they’re doing here, but they won’t care as the moment turns even steamier. Sami will let herself get swept up in old feelings without worrying about the consequences.
Nevertheless, Sami will realize the gravity of her mistake later – particularly once she realizes Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has become privy to the cheating and intends to resort to blackmail. We’ll provide updates as other Days news emerges.
