Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of August 23-27 teases that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will crash and burn with his Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) love confession while Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) has an obsessed meltdown. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will also face Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) questions about the girl she’s crushing on, so here’s what fans can expect.
For starters, Tripp will decide to take Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) advice and trust his instincts. He’s already feeling like he’s fallen in love with Allie, but he’s uncertain of when he should confess.
However, Kayla pointed out that love is always a risk. Sometimes you just have to put your heart out there and hope for the best, so Days spoilers say that’s exactly what Tripp will do.
After a round of lovemaking, Tripp just won’t be able to hold in how he feels any longer. He’ll tell Allie he loves her, but he’ll get crickets in return based on DOOL’s weekly promo!
Allie won’t really know what to say since things aren’t that serious for her yet.
This is partly because Allie’s been through a ton of trauma and needs to go slow.
Of course, another part of it involves Allie’s feelings for Chanel and how they’re perhaps holding her back from a stronger commitment to Tripp.
Bottom line, Tripp won’t get the enthusiastic response he was hoping for when he pours his heart out.
As for Chanel, she’ll face some awkwardness on her upcoming date with Johnny.
Days spoilers say Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will derail it, so she may mention something about Chanel’s previous interest in a girl and act surprised that she’s swinging back the other way.
Of course, Paulina has tried to be understanding about Chanel being fluid and not needing a label, but she’s still learning.
The point is Chanel won’t want her mother announcing her crush on someone else during her hot date night.
Fortunately, Johnny won’t be bothered by it or seem threatened. He’s just having fun with Chanel right now, so he’ll grow curious about the girl she’s interested in.
Chanel will let Johnny know it’s none of his business, but she’ll be clear about needing to move on – and she’ll think maybe Johnny’s just the guy to help her do that.
Johnny won’t realize Chanel kissed his sister, so that’s a shocker that’ll come out later. In the meantime, Ava and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will have a fierce faceoff over Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
After Ava witnesses another close moment, she’ll blow her top and push for a major admission.
“Will you just admit that you want to sleep with Nicole?!” Ava shouts at Rafe in DOOL’s weekly preview video.
Rafe will be frustrated over Ava’s outburst, but she’s obviously not wrong. Anyone can see that Rafe’s battling some intense feelings for Nicole and would love to take her to bed if he could.
