Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of February 8-12 tease that some surprises are in store, so let’s talk about what’s coming up in Salem. First, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will have an offer for Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
Since Kate’s been helping Jake out so much anyway, he’ll want to make it official by formally offering Kate a new job at DiMera Enterprises.
As for Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), she’ll take all her Gabi Chic plans to Titan next. Gabi will make a big pitch to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) while Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) hands over a letter of resignation to Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
Of course, Victor may tear that letter up or at least refuse to accept it. Philip should be allowed to keep running Titan despite his mob dealings and money laundering, so Xander’s going to hit the roof. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that’ll drive Xander to make an angry, impulsive decision.
It looks like Xander will be the one who quits instead, so this will kick off Xander’s new career journey and force him to reevaluate his life. That means Gabi will have to try her luck with Philip next, but that’ll work out well for her since Philip is Kate’s son.
Gabi will see the potential to use Philip to drive Jake and Kate up the wall!
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will come clean to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) about Laura Horton’s (Jaime Lyn Bauer) payments to Tiffany Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) refused to divulge the name of the person who wrote the checks before, but Jack will click that puzzle piece into place for Gwen.
Jack will be genuinely sorry for Gwen’s past hardships and will hope there might be some way to make things up to his daughter. As for Laura, she’ll encounter Kate and face her fury. Kate and Laura’s showdown will open up some difficult old wounds as conflict erupts.
Later, Gwen will blast Laura and find herself freaking out soon after. It looks like Gwen will inadvertently cause a serious accident for Laura. There are some hints that suggest that accident could bring a deadly outcome, so Gwen will find Jack again to deliver a desperate plea for his assistance.
Jack will feel like he owes Gwen since she had such a rough life. It seems Jack will form a plan to hide Gwen’s trail, but he’ll surely regret keeping secrets from Abigail and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain).
As for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), he’ll be overjoyed when Abigail agrees to move back in the DiMera mansion. Even so, Abigail can’t just forgive and forget. The road to reconciliation will be a long, difficult process since Chad put his trust in Gwen instead of his own wife.
Days spoilers state that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will vow to step up for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) as he recovers from his gunshot wound. However, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will have a plan to thwart Chloe and any attempts she might make to bond with Brady.
After Kristen asks Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) to visit her in prison, she’ll push for a big favor involving Chloe and Brady.
It looks like Susan will become a spy and perhaps a bit of a saboteur as well. Meanwhile, Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) will confess to Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) that the babies belong to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers).
Lani and Eli will get stuck in quite a jam, so Ivan may trap them and have to admit that to Vivian, too.
Fortunately, Valentine’s Day will bring freedom for “Elani” along with a family reunion. Lani and Eli will finally get a chance to bring Carver Grant and Julia “Jules” Grant home!
Valentine’s Day also used to be Steve Johnson (Steve Johnson) and Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) wedding anniversary, so Days will acknowledge that through some new nuptials.
After Steve pops the question again, Kayla will get on board with plans to remarry Steve. While Steve and Kayla enjoy their wedding, Jake and Kate will get some stunning updates. The news about Vivian being alive will spread, so that’ll be a lot for Kate and Jake to take in.
Vivian will have a new scheme cooking up soon enough, but Kate will hope to ruin it with Jake’s help.
There’ll also be a Romeo and Juliet themed Valentine’s Day dream for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), so that’s something for “Cin” fans to look forward to.
DOOL spoilers say Ben will have this dream on his mind after he awakens. It’ll be a shared dream with Ciara, so this will help strengthen their connection.
It won’t be long until Ben opens up about this dream to Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and tries to make sense of what it means.
