Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that viewers have some big drama to look forward to on the NBC soap. The new preview promo for the week of January 25 is out, and it all begins with the terrible trouble that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) has gotten himself into with the mob.
As viewers know, Philip got himself roped into laundering money for the Vitaili mob a while back.
Well, ever since Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) dissolved the shell company that Philip was using to launder the mob’s money, Philip has had a target on his back, and the promo shows
Philip lamenting that the mob wants him six feet under. Then, someone with a gun is shown, presumably looking for Philip.
From here, things are going to get pretty scary. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will end up taking a bullet meant for Philip.
It will apparently all go down at the Kiriakis mansion, where someone from the mob will come to gun down Philip, but they’ll shoot Brady thinking that he’s Philip!
As it will turn out, Brady will be on the phone with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) at the moment of the shooting. Kristen is shown in the promo saying, “Was that a gunshot?” as she’s listening to the goings-on from her vantage point.
The preview then shows Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) hovering over Brady, saying, “You have to be ok, do you hear me?”
It looks like there will be some truly frightening moments for Chloe, as it will appear that Brady might not make it. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Brady will be shot in the stomach, which of course could be quite serious.
Next, the new Days of Our Lives promo addresses a big comeback that many viewers have been looking forward to for a long time. The promo shows Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), and viewers can hear Ben talking about Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) saying, “I get this gut feeling that she is alive.”
And Ben would be right about that, because the promo next shows a very much alive Ciara Weston, as she’s stuck in some room somewhere yelling, “Hello? Let me out of here – hello?”
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Ciara will be held captive in a remote location by a guy named Rhodes (Jason Downs), who will turn out to be an associate of Vincent Bellman’s (Michael Teh).
As DOOL viewers will remember, when Vincent was taking Ciara to the private airfield shortly before their car exploded, his plan was to take Ciara somewhere by airplane.
Well, it appears that Rhodes will be the pilot who must have whisked Ciara away from the scene by plane right before the explosion went down.
The good news here is that viewers will see Ciara back on screen beginning on Thursday, January 28, and that’s going to make scores of “Cin” fans thrilled. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing Ciara back in action and getting the backstory on where Ciara has been this whole time.
