Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of October 18-22 teases that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will listen to Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) devil tape while Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) reunite. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will also land in police custody, so here’s what DOOL viewers can expect.
At the townhouse, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will assure Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) that she’s perfectly fine with his possession movie.
John will struggle to make sense of Marlena’s approval – and after the devil’s in total control, Marlena will don sunglasses to hide her glowing eyes.
John will have a hunch that Marlena might be possessed again, so he’ll want to see those eyes for himself. However, it seems possessed Marlena may avoid confirming John’s suspicions initially.
While Marlena tries to shove Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) into the church’s holy water vessel, John will rummage through Marlena’s office.
John will end up finding the tape from Doug’s therapy session, so he’ll listen and score proof of the devil’s return to Salem.
As for Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), he’ll hope to lock in a deal that could lead to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Wally Kurth) release.
Victor will also put Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) to work on an important assignment, which will set the stage for Kristen DiMera to hopefully be found.
Look for Steve and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) to approach EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) right around the time of his dinner redo with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
EJ will deal with a subtle grilling session as Kayla and Steve seek info about Kristen’s whereabouts.
Next, Kate and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will have some guidance for Philip. If Philip expects to save what’s left of his connection to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), changes need to be made.
Philip can’t keep flying into a jealous rage at the mere mention or sight of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf)!
As for Chloe, she’ll let Brady know she moved out of the Kiriakis mansion. Days spoilers say Brady will urge Chloe to come stay with him, so this love triangle will get complicated all over again.
Back with Kate, Days spoilers say she’ll stop dragging her feet and decide to give things another shot with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). That’ll be music to Roman’s ears as he assures Kate she won’t regret this.
Over with Jake, he’ll take that secret gun of his to a confrontation with Carmine (Richard Stevens).
Their park showdown will spark some medical drama for Abe Carver (James Reynolds, who’ll end up on the ground following his collapse.
While Abe is hospitalized, Jake will get handcuffed and hauled down to the station.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will interrogate Jake about all the mob mayhem, so some shocking episodes are on the way.
