Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) may face a near-death experience after a mob hit. Will Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) warning spell trouble?
During the confrontation that Jake recently instigated, he made it clear that Philip was playing with fire. Jake acted like he had the good sense to get out of the mob while Philip was dumb enough to get under Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) heel again.
Of course, Jake also offered a reminder of what happened the last time Philip was caught up in mob drama. It ended badly since Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) took a bullet with Philip’s name on it.
Jake warned that Philip might not be so lucky this time around, so that sounds awfully ominous!
DOOL fans know Philip’s jealousy has been a huge issue for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Chloe has tried her best to make things work and give Philip a real chance, but she fears he’s incapable of change. The lack of trust and constant territorial meltdowns have driven Chloe to her breaking point.
Days spoilers say Chloe will move out of the Kiriakis mansion during the week of October 18-22, so that’ll give Brady an opportunity to swoop in and ask her to move in with him.
The story should swing back in Brady’s direction romantically, but perhaps Philip could still emerge victorious in this love triangle.
Since Jake provided a hint about another potential mob hit, that’s something we should definitely consider.
Jake wanted Philip to understand that Ava was a “bloody viper” who would feed him to the wolves – and he added that Philip would never see it coming!
It’s tough to believe that Ava – who has no real experience – will actually end up taking over Gabi Chic and running it as Ava Chic.
Would Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) even allow that? Regardless, Gabi isn’t someone who likes to lose and may gain the upper hand in the end.
If Philip can’t deliver on what he’s promised, Ava just might tell Angelo Vitali (Angelo Tiffe) to send someone to take him out.
That’s especially true if this scheme is what sets Ava and Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) breakup in motion like Gabi suggested.
Ava may lose everything and blame Philip for it, so she might even fire a deadly shot at him herself!
Regardless, Philip could wind up fighting for his life with a terrified Chloe by his bedside. If Days uses this to help Philip win Chloe back, there might be a silver lining.
