Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of September 13-17 teases that Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) wild life story will become a movie – and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will be portrayed as her true love. Sami’s old discovery of Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) affair will also come into play, so let’s talk about what’s ahead.
DOOL fans know Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has been trying to score investors for his new film, but he hasn’t offered any real details yet.
However, Johnny will eventually reveal that he intends to make a movie about his mom’s life. Sami has definitely lived a wild one, so Johnny will be eager to show all the crazy ups and downs.
As for who’ll play the role of Sami, it looks like Johnny will consider Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) first. Although Allie looks the part, she may bow out of this job pretty quickly.
Allie is busy with Sweet Bits Bakery and may argue that it’d be too risky to portray her mother – especially since Sami may not approve of the most scandalous part of this film.
Speaking of scandals, one of them certainly involves the time Sami found Marlena cheating on Sami’s father, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor).
Days spoilers say Marlena will fret over how that’ll be portrayed in the movie – and John will have some concerns as well as the other half of the affair.
When it comes to the love story portion of this movie, Johnny will decide EJ isn’t all that central to the plot.
EJ will protest that he was the love of Sami’s life, but Johnny will think that title belongs to Lucas – and Lucas will be thrilled over that news.
Lucas will definitely enjoy rubbing it in EJ’s face and will no doubt wonder who’s going to play him in the film.
Nevertheless, things aren’t going to go as planned once Johnny gets down to the nitty-gritty of making this movie happen.
Days spoilers confirm Marlena’s ’90s possession and exorcism storyline will be revisited – and Johnny’s movie will serve as the setup for it somehow.
It’s possible that in doing his research, Johnny will decide the possession drama would make a more compelling story overall.
That’s particularly true since Sami is MIA and can’t consult on anything.
Of course, Marlena’s possession affected her family, so that could still be part of Sami’s movie and just take on a life of its own.
Whatever the case, Johnny will wind up turning to Abigail as the star of this film, though she may or may not get on board.
Regardless, Days spoilers say this will turn into a storyline that’s quite creepy in the coming months. As other DOOL updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
