Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that all the devil baby drama has fans wondering if Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will ever return. Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) mom is definitely needed for her grandbaby, so many DOOL viewers are disappointed that Hope’s comeback hasn’t happened yet.
It doesn’t make sense for Hope to stay away now that Ciara is in Salem again – particularly now that she’s expecting a little bundle of doom! Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is possessed and fully determined to go after Ciara and Ben’s unborn child.
Of course, Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) ordeal is yet another reason why Hope’s absence has been glaring.
If Hope had been in Salem, she no doubt would’ve helped Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) visit Doug. It’s just tough to explain why Hope’s doing nothing halfway around the world when she could be in Salem pitching in.
However, we want to focus on the baby story for a moment and where it’s ultimately headed.
It’s not too late for the show to make things right if they bring Hope back in the picture. Alfonso was supposedly promised that Days wouldn’t recast Hope, but the situation could certainly change.
If Alfonso doesn’t want to reprise her role as Hope Brady, a recast would be a simple solution.
Then again, perhaps Days could convince Kristian Alfonso to return even briefly down the road. Ciara’s mom is certainly needed now, but Hope will perhaps be needed even more once Ciara’s pregnancy moves along.
Whether Ciara loses the baby or gives birth when the time is right, it’ll be weird if Hope stays off canvas.
The show might work around that by having Ciara visit her mom in South Africa or wherever Hope lands next, but Hope’s return would be the better option.
Regardless, there’s no denying that Hope deserves a spot in Ciara’s storyline, especially since we know Ben’s dad is coming back.
Clyde Weston (James Read) will become part of Ciara and Ben’s upcoming story, so the pressure’s on for Hope to make a return of her own.
