Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, July 22, teases that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will rage over Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) betrayal. Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will also deliver a passionate plea while Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) gets a surprise at the altar.
At home on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will drown her sorrows and reflect on her messy anniversary party. What Nicole thought would be a night of celebration turned into the end of her marriage to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).
Part of Nicole knows this is for the best, but another part of her will blame her suffering on Sami. Even if the cheating secret needed to come out, it didn’t have to happen in such a public, devastating way.
Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) was just a tool Sami pulled out of her arsenal, so Days spoilers say Nicole will mostly hold Sami responsible. She’ll wish she could make Sami pay, but she doesn’t have proof that Sami cheated with Lucas.
As luck would have it, evidence is about to walk right through the door!
Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) got Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) letter out of the garbage and will offer it up on a silver platter to Nicole.
Phyllis will invite Sami’s rival to seek vengeance and make Sami feel the same sorrow of losing her husband.
Days spoilers say Nicole will contemplate that letter briefly, but it won’t take long to decide she’s indeed going to use it. Since Nicole hates Sami more than ever, she’ll have no problem dropping the betrayal bomb.
While Nicole prepares to make that move, there’ll be a DiMera disaster to contend with.
Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) may cut it close when it comes to arriving at Theo and Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) wedding on time.
It seems Chad and Belle will join forces to handle some company drama now that Belle’s part of the legal team. Regardless, Belle and Chad will thankfully tackle the crisis swiftly.
It won’t be long until Chad’s at the nuptials – ready to serve as Theo’s best man.
Belle will also want to be there for Ciara, even if she doesn’t agree with this wedding decision.
While Belle and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) discuss Ciara’s big day, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will be all set to destroy it.
Ben will carry out his plan to steal the bride and replace her with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) as a stand-in spouse.
Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will pretend she’s fulfilling her usual maid-of-honor duties, but she’ll actually be part of Ben and Claire’s scheme.
Once the ceremony gets underway, it’ll be Claire under the thick veil while Ben’s making a run for it with hostage Ciara!
Theo and all the guests will certainly be taken aback by the bride swap that’s looming.
Meanwhile, EJ will get a shocker of his own when Nicole shows up to ruin his relationship. Nicole may insist this is about revenge and making sure EJ knows the kind of woman he’s married to.
While EJ reads that Sami slept with Lucas, the former flames will be having a private moment of connection. Lucas will make a profound love declaration and hope that Sami will pick him over EJ.
Although Sami will cry over Lucas’ feelings and what she feels in return, she won’t be able to walk away from her hubby.
Of course, EJ should be the one walking away once he reads what Kristen wrote!
Days spoilers say EJ will burn with anger and wreck his office as he reacts to Kristen’s news. Between EJ’s bombshell and Ciara’s snatching, there’ll be some awesome cliffhangers to tide us over until after the Olympics.
