General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) veiled threat is certainly something that should be taken seriously. As Cyrus wrapped up his conversation with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), he gazed at a picture of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and commented on how much she looked like her late father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Cyrus was clearly letting Ava know that Avery wasn’t off the table when it came to keeping Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) in line.
Nikolas already plans to do whatever it takes to keep Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) safe, but General Hospital spoilers say she’s not the only person Cyrus can use as part of his strategy. Cyrus can just as easily use Avery if Nikolas proves uncooperative along the way.
Of course, Nikolas isn’t going to like the fact that Cyrus is coming around to threaten Ava and her daughter. General Hospital spoilers state tht Nikolas will form a new plan that could prove risky. He’ll put a plot in motion during the week of May 10-14, but there’s certainly a chance it could backfire.
If this plan involves getting the upper hand on Cyrus, the stakes will be incredibly high. Nikolas isn’t known for his great decision-making skills, so whatever he’s cooking up could end in a General Hospital disaster.

Cyrus has proven that he’s not afraid to resort to kidnapping if need be. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was abducted and tortured at one point.
Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) landed in a dangerous kidnapping situation of their own thanks to Cyrus and his war with Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews).
It’s hard to imagine Cyrus actually harming Avery, but scooping her up and stashing her somewhere could be a good option. Cyrus knows the easiest way to punish people and make them do what he wants is through their loved ones.
If Cyrus snatches Avery on General Hospital, he’ll score major leverage – and it could set up quite a crisis for Sonny to come home to down the road.
Sonny might get his memories back and find out his daughter is in danger thanks to Cyrus’ latest twisted scheme. It could put Sonny in the mob action again once his “Mike” story is over.
