General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) could get some shocking news soon. As GH viewers know, Chase’s mom Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) recently made a big enemy of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), which is definitely not an ideal situation.
Cyrus was furious when Jackie penned a tell-all article about Cyrus after secretly interviewing his mom, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott).
Cyrus still doesn’t know where Florence is being held, which is bad enough, but then Cyrus lost the confidence of the hospital board on his plan to send his new prescription painkiller to the FDA.
Jackie’s article was artfully used by Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander), and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to block Cyrus’ big plans for his drug. Cyrus was outraged.
Well, when Cyrus was in the throes of anger over the whole situation related to Jackie’s article, he stumbled upon Jackie having a very serious conversation with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), which happened to be about those DNA test results that Finn had run to see if he’s actually Chase’s biological father.
Cyrus seemed to catch a little bit of that conversation, and that’s got us wondering if Cyrus might dig and find out what was going on between Finn and Jackie.
Of course, Cyrus has absolutely no ethical boundaries, so he just might go snooping down in the lab to see exactly what kind of test Finn might have had run.
It probably wouldn’t take too much sleuthing for Cyrus to realize that Finn had a paternity test run, and he’d probably be able to put two and two together from there.
What if Cyrus decides to get revenge on Jackie by tearing apart her relationship with Chase? If Chase were to find out that Finn’s his father, or even that a paternity test was run between himself and Finn, then it would surely blow Chase’s world apart.
Jackie and Chase’s relationship may never be the same, and Finn and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) would be forever affected, too.
It would be just like Cyrus to upend Jackie’s life in this fashion, and of course he would definitely want Jackie to know exactly who ruined her family harmony. So perhaps Cyrus will just march right up to Chase and blurt out the fact that Finn compared his DNA to Chase’s.
Cyrus would probably take great pleasure in stirring the pot and watching the disaster follow.
We’ll see what happens here, but Cyrus certainly has a compelling reason to go after Jackie and make her life hell – and ruining her relationship with her son would be one way to do that.
