General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, June 4, tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) “Florence” signal should unleash chaos with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also get a surprise visitor while Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) keeps a deadly secret from Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
At GH, Finn will assure Maxie that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) isn’t going to bother her again. Of course, Finn will feel certain of that since he believes he knocked Peter to his death after that staircase tumble.
However, things are a bit murky since Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) insisted they had to get out of the stairwell and assured Finn that Peter’s body would be found soon.
Liz didn’t want them to get caught at the crime scene, but she later told Finn no one would ever know Peter was dead. She felt they could just let the cops keep believing Peter was on the run.
It seems far-fetched to think Finn and Liz lugged Peter’s body on those stairs. What makes Liz think Peter won’t be found – especially since she already said he’d be found soon?
Finn suggested he couldn’t just leave Peter there, so perhaps they really did find some way to move him. Even so, surely the PCPD isn’t so incompetent that they wouldn’t search every corner of the hospital several times over.
The writing has been messy and unclear, but maybe that’s by design. We’re not so sure we buy that Peter’s truly dead based on the way all this has played out. Peter may show up again when everyone least expects it – ready to unleash more terror on Port Charles.
In the meantime, Britt will get a surprise at the hideout in Canada. “How did you find me?” Britt asks someone in Friday’s preview video. She seems at ease and even pleased to see this person, so maybe it’ll be Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) who shows up to see her daughter.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will get their steamy night together back on track.
Willow and Michael were interrupted by Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) call about the baby, but it seems they’ll have a chance to surrender to their desires again soon enough.
As for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), she’ll serve as a confidant to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) on Friday. Jax will talk about hoping “it’s over sooner rather than later,” so it appears he’ll be talking about the latest round of mob drama.
Keeping Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) safe will remain Jax’s priority.
Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will be overcome with emotion as he meets what he believes is his daughter for the first time. Brook Lynn will introduce Valentin to “Bailey Lois Quartermaine,” though he may object to her naming little BLQ2 without him!
Valentin will fall in love with “Bailey” right off the bat and won’t have any inkling that this is actually Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) bundle of joy.
Outside Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) place, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will insist they’re going to need Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) help. Trina and Portia are safe now, but Laura is currently in more danger than ever.
Cyrus has made it clear that the only way they’re both walking out of there alive is if he remains a free man. He pushed Laura to remove her bulletproof vest, so the stakes are awfully high.
Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will continue to serve as a hostage negotiator, but it’ll be tough to communicate with Cyrus in such an agitated state.
“Whatever happens to me, happens to Laura, too!” Cyrus shouts in Friday’s preview clip. There’ll be some scary moments – and we’re betting that word Laura and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) settled on as the signal will come into play.
Jordan intends to send her team in if Laura says “Florence,” but Curtis warned her not to say it accidentally. It seems like the prime setup for Laura to say it at the wrong moment by mistake and unleash some chaos.
Finally, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will visit Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in lockup and get the feeling that Jason thinks she screwed up somehow.
GH spoilers say Carly will get a text containing some urgent news soon, so we’ll see if that ties in with the hostage situation and Cyrus’ fate.
