General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, May 7 Recap – Sam’s Parole Violation – Peter’s Plan for Maxie’s Live-In Nurse

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, May 7, reveals that Cameron Webber (William Lipton) apologized to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and opened up about how wrong he’d been about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Cam explained the story of almost shooting Jason, so a rattled Joss was glad he hadn’t. Josslyn admitted she never would’ve been able to forgive Cameron for that.

Cam felt like Joss was acting like he pulled the trigger, but he assured her that he didn’t. Josslyn acted like they’d be fine, but she still seemed standoffish as she suggested Jake Webber (Hudson West) and Jason were the ones who really deserved the apologies.

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was relieved when she found out Cameron was at Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) place. After talking to Jax briefly, Liz left with Cameron.

They paused outside as Cam reflected on his stupid mistake and how he felt like he’d lost his best friend, so Liz gave her son a comforting hug.

At GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) discussed Jason’s escape. Valentin feared that perhaps Jason felt the time had come to kill Peter.

Anna was concerned that if Jason did take Peter out, there might be no hope for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Valentin found out that Anna had come clean to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about the poison situation as well. Anna decided to look into Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) scientist and the original source of the poison, but she found out he was “very” dead.

Even so, Anna was hopeful that she could dig around and find out something through old connections.

Anna mentioned that Peter’s antidote stash must be nearby since he was so willing to smash that vile – seemingly knowing he could get more vials fast and easily. Valentin decided to pursue that angle in hopes of finding out where Peter kept his supply.

In Chase’s room at General Hospital, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was there when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) arrived. Michael worried three would be a crowd, but Chase suggested he was thinking the more, the merrier.

The news about Jason’s escape and shooting came up, which Michael hadn’t heard. He decided to bolt out of there fast and get more info from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Chase assured Willow that she could head home to get some rest and be there for Michael, so she took him up on that.

Afterward, Chase whined to Finn about wanting to get out of that hospital bed. Finn warned Chase could have a seizure while driving or slip in the shower.

Chase promised he wouldn’t drive and would keep his phone by him, but Finn argued it’d do no good if Chase was unconscious. Finn made it clear that the safest place for him was at General Hospital.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) headed to Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) apartment to discuss their plan to fake Baby Lou’s death. Peter interrupted, so Brook Lynn rushed to the back and hid out for a while.

Peter entered with a milkshake and a takeout bag. He wondered who was there with Maxie, but she claimed she was listening to a podcast before he arrived.

Maxie mentioned the live-in nurse she’d selected before putting the food away. That gave Peter a chance to whip his phone out and snap a pic of the nurse’s info. Once Maxie returned, she did her best to hustle Peter out of there.

Brook Lynn reconvened with Maxie after the coast was clear, but they acknowledged that they needed a Plan C since Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was on the run with Jason.

General Hospital spoilers say Maxie and Brooke’s scheme will hit another hurdle soon, so keep watching!

At the safe house on Friday’s GH episode, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) bickered about Jason. Sam wanted Dante to take his cop hat off and talk to her as a friend.

Nevertheless, Dante insisted the cop hat had to stay on until Jason and Britt were found. It was also the reason he had to take Sam in for questioning. Once Sam was in the interrogation room, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) reminded Dante that Sam was still on parole.

Olivia didn’t think Sam’s kids deserved to have their mom sent back to Pentonville.

Dante took his mom’s words to heart and decided to cut Sam loose. Sam was grateful and apologetic if she’d managed to damage their friendship tonight. Dante confessed that the situation did put them on opposite sides.

Back with Peter, he called someone about the nurse Maxie had chosen, whose name was Chloe Jennings. Peter cryptically suggested that it all depended on Chloe now.

At home, Carly had some scotch to feel close to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who appeared to her in vision form. Sonny knew Carly had stepped up and admitted he never wanted her to be part of that world.

Carly felt she had no choice and would do whatever it took to protect their family.

Michael found Carly, who offered vague reassurance about Jason and reminded Michael that he wasn’t part of Sonny’s business. Next, Willow joined Michael and embraced him. There was plenty of desire between them, which they acknowledged – but they knew their plans had to be put on hold.
