General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, November 19 Recap – Sasha’s Emergency C-Section - Tunnel Collapse Traps Jason

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, November 19, reveals that a tunnel collapse trapped Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) had an emergency C-section. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) also warned Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) as they realized how much damage their secrets had done, so here’s how it all went down on Friday’s show.

On Cassadine Island, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) ignored Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) attempts to tell him that the tunnel was dangerously unstable. Peter demanded that they proceed as planned and vowed to get everything he wanted.

Meanwhile, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) helped Jason track Peter, Britt and Liesl. They also addressed the unstable tunnel, which could collapse if there was too much gunfire.

After Drew found Peter with the others, he pulled his weapon on the villain. Jason appeared as well and shot Peter in the arm, which brought a shootout with Peter’s guard.

Once the guard finally handed over his weapon, Britt gave Jason a hug and argued that it was a normal reaction to him not dying.

The gang suddenly realized Peter had given them the slip, but Liesl felt they had to get out of there since the tunnel was on the verge of caving in.

Peter popped back up for more gunfire, which led to Jason getting pinned under rubble while Drew fought to protect Britt.

Back in Port Charles, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) tried to help Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) understand that he couldn’t just erase how things were in Nixon Falls.

Sonny talked about his bond with Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) and Nina. There was a time when it felt like Nina was Sonny’s one friend in the world, so Carly was caught off guard over this revelation.

At GH, Sasha learned she would need an emergency C-section due to a placental abruption. Brando could tell this was quite serious and worried since Sasha’s life was at stake along with the baby’s.

After Brando offered sweet reassurance in the OR, Dr. Sofia Navarro (Christine Ferrero) got the baby out and let the new parents see their new son briefly. However, Brando feared something was wrong since the baby was hustled off to the corner and wasn’t crying.

Meanwhile, Maxie found Nina and admitted her plan to protect Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) was falling apart.

Maxie hoped that maybe Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) could become an ally now, but Nina warned that it was unlikely since Maxie had waited too long.

Nina understood the cost of keeping secrets due to what went down with Sonny, so she was able to commiserate with Maxie.

Over with Valentin, he pushed Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to confirm “Bailey Quartermaine” wasn’t his daughter.

Brook Lynn cried that she thought this would be over before Valentin fell in love with “Bailey,” but he snapped that he fell in love with her the moment he knew she existed.

Valentin was in physical pain as he wrestled with losing a child who was everything to him.

At Charlie’s Pub, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) put the “Bailey” and Louise puzzle pieces together. He made a call to find out where Brook Lynn’s vehicle went on May 27 and figured out she was in Beechers Corners.

Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) overheard a Beechers Corners comment, so she suggested it was a lovely place and admitted to visiting right before Memorial Day.

That led to Bobbie’s confession that she was supposed to help secretly deliver Maxie’s baby.

Back at the hospital, Brook Lynn was about to tell Valentin the rest of the story when Chase showed up.

Valentin snarked about Brook Lynn’s latest bombshell, but Chase said he already knew and lied that he was “Bailey’s” father.

At the boxing gym, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was surprised to find Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) furiously attacking the punching bag.

Willow explained how an accidental encounter launched Nina and Carly’s latest fight.

Michael didn’t agree with Willow’s take on the situation, but he didn’t want to fight. When Michael suggested a trip to New York City, Willow smiled and chimed in with plans.

When Bobbie approached Carly and Sonny, she picked up on the tension between them.

Carly was uncertain of things in her relationship, though she clarified to Bobbie that they had moved beyond the Jason drama.

Bobbie thought that was good since there was nothing worse than feeling like a third person was in your marriage!

As for Nina, she got updates on Sasha’s ordeal and headed to the pub to find Phyllis.

Nina started to leave when she learned Phyllis wasn’t there, but she stopped in her tracks when she saw Sonny.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Nina have a deep conversation ahead of them, so stay tuned.
