General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, September 10 Update – Nina Fights to Keep Sonny Dead – TJ Begs Jordan to Survive

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, September 10, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will fight to keep Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) dead while TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) begs Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) to survive. Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will also get a shock when she learns Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is back in Nixon Falls, so here’s what GH fans can expect.

For starters, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will agree the make-out session they just shared was nice. After Carly suggests she won’t mind doing that again, she may secretly think about doing even more once they tie the knot!

After all, Carly and Jason are prepared to make this a real marriage, so there’s a chance they’ll consummate their union at some point. It just depends on the timing of Sonny’s return following all this drama in Nixon Falls.

Nina will plead with Jax to just let Sonny stay dead and allow her to be happy with “Mike.”

However, Jax will want Nina to get it through her head that “Mike” doesn’t really exist. Sonny merely has amnesia; he didn’t actually become a different person.

While Jax stands his ground with Nina, Sonny will cross paths with Phyllis and let her know Jax is back.

Phyllis will find out that Nina requested some space while she deals with Jax on her own. That may concern Phyllis, who doesn’t want to see Nina get sucked back in Jax’s web.

Sonny may admit Jax is hurling all kinds of accusations and trying to interfere in his relationship.

Although “Mike” is willing to give Nina this time alone with her ex, he’ll make it clear that he’s willing to rough Jax up if need be!

Back with Jason, he’ll fear the worst when he gets some ominous updates. Jason will get a whiff of some potential drama on the horizon – and he’ll suspect it’s got Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) written all over it.

Jason may beef up security even more as he prepares for the “wedding of the century” that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) keeps hyping.

Maxie just asked Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) to be her plus one, but he didn’t seem keen on it.

Although Austin suggested weddings weren’t his thing, maybe Austin just doesn’t like getting jerked around.

Maxie acted like she didn’t even want to be friends and now she’s asking Austin to be her wedding date, so he may not approve of a romance where he has to play games.

Unfortunately, this is indeed a bit of a game since Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has recruited Maxie to help her influence Austin.

We’ll see if Austin eventually gets on board with Maxie’s offer or not. Regardless, Maxie and Brook Lynn will end up getting into an argument – this time about BLQ’s mother skills.

Brook Lynn has been taking care of Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) for Maxie, but she’ll get the feeling that Maxie thinks she’s not doing a very good job.

After Brook Lynn lashes out over Maxie’s “bad mom” insinuation, Maxie will fire back as they fight over what’s best for Louise aka “Bailey Quartermaine.”

Speaking of bad moms, let’s talk about Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and her overbearing tendencies.

Gladys will feel like Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) has too much on his plate, so she may gripe about all the side gigs he’s signed up for.

Glady wanted Brando to take a well-paying mob job, but he refused since Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) wasn’t comfortable with it.

Brando is just trying to make some honest money ahead of the baby’s birth, but Gladys will be frustrated over her son’s situation and may try to fix it with disastrous results.

As for Jordan, she’s only got one kidney – and that kidney may be at risk of failing. Will Jordan need another transplant?

Regardless, TJ will be devastated over his mom’s ordeal. TJ will sit by unconscious Jordan’s bedside and plead with her to survive.

Austin will deliver some news that isn’t what Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) wants to hear, so Curtis may have to make some tough choices since the divorce hasn’t been finalized.

Curtis will still be in charge of Jordan’s healthcare decisions, so he could end up feeling pretty overwhelmed.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is thankfully going to be OK, but she’ll remain worried about Jordan in another room.

After Portia removes her oxygen mask, she’ll push for answers about Jordan’s condition.

Whether Portia gets those answers from another doctor or from Curtis later, she’ll learn Jordan’s still in bad shape.

General Hospital spoilers say Jordan has a difficult battle ahead of her, so stay tuned.
