General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) life could be in grave danger all over again. GH fans know Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) doesn’t approve of Sasha as a love interest for her son, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).
Gladys doesn’t like the idea of Brando being involved with a former drug user since he was once an addict, but she also just doesn’t seem to like Sasha in general. Maybe it’s a “nobody’s good enough for my boy” situation, but Gladys has definitely been giving Sasha some dirty looks!
Of course, this is troubling since Gladys is now in cahoots with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), who wanted Sasha dead after that overdose drama blew up. Sasha survived instead – and Brando recently pointed out how grateful he was.
GH fans also know Sasha has been a persistent pest for Cyrus. She’s not afraid to stand up to this villain and has even taunted Cyrus about his mommy issues. Sasha has crossed lines and gotten on Cyrus’ bad side, but perhaps she’s playing a dangerous game.
That game could get even more dangerous with the addition of Gladys. It’d be easy for Gladys to argue that Sasha is the real problem – the one distracting Brando from his duties and keeping her son from being the best employee he can be.
Gladys could easily go to Cyrus and shift blame away from Brando in an upcoming conversation. Now that Cyrus has basically demoted Brando to being just a driver, Gladys will certainly be looking to put her son back in good standing with his boss.
Gladys tends to butt in and make matters worse, so that’s what she’ll do here if General Hospital lets her follow her usual pattern. Since Gladys clearly wants Sasha out of the picture, she might push Cyrus to take deadly action.
Cyrus isn’t going to let Gladys run the show, but he may think she’s got the right idea in this case. That’s especially true if Sasha stirs up more trouble and tries to pull Brando out of Cyrus’ twisted web.
Now that Sasha knows Cyrus is blackmailing Brando, she poses a growing threat – one Cyrus just might want rid of. Brando might have to rescue Sasha and once again prove he’s her knight in shining armor!
