General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) could sneak around for forbidden love. They may not be able to resist each other, even after Jason’s marriage to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) kicks off.
Carly and Jason are set to wed as a mob power play, so it won’t be based on their personal feelings – at least not at first.
Anything could happen as this story moves along, but we can’t just dismiss Britt and Jason’s budding romance. It’ll surely be tough for Jason and Britt to quit each other cold turkey!
There’s a magnetic pull between Britt and Jason, so they were really looking forward to exploring where this intriguing bond might lead. Jason’s marriage to Carly will get in the way, but all hope is not lost!
Britt’s certainly going to feel blindsided and hurt, so she’ll face off with Carly and push Jason away.
GH spoilers say Britt will even decide to watch fireworks with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) on the Fourth of July, so that may be a reaction to Jason’s news.
Britt may feel like she has to prove it’s no big deal and move on with the first guy who lands in her orbit.
That’ll be Jax, so there’s the potential for Britt to explore something with Jax as well. Even so, Jason and Britt might find it difficult to stay away from each other as time goes on.
That’s especially true since Jason knows about Britt’s Huntington’s marker and will want to make sure she’s OK. Jason isn’t the kind of guy who’ll want Britt to feel abandoned – not when she needs someone in the loop she can rely on.
Since Jason and Carly’s marriage will be a sham anyway, could Jason ultimately betray his new vows and sleep with Britt?
It could be risky if someone catches onto the fact that this marriage is just for show, but the heart wants what it wants.
Of course, Carly won’t like it if Jason ends up sneaking around with Britt behind her back. Carly is quite territorial when it comes to Jason and will become even more so once they’re a married couple.
Forbidden love is a classic soap trope that always brings some entertaining and steamy moments. It’d be fun to see GH take this route with Jason and Britt once Jason is a married man! As other updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
