General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that another one of the five families could emerge as an important part of the upcoming mob drama. GH fans know the Novak family has been involved in the story before – including when Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) shot up one of their warehouses to “help” Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization.
Cyrus ordered that deadly ambush to stop product from being moved as a favor to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), who took over for Sonny following his presumed death. It was just Cyrus trying another tactic to get his mother back – and it allowed him to show off his power in the process.
However, the Novak family surely wasn’t happy about that. With Sonny out of the picture, the Novak clan may see an opening to tackle Cyrus head-on and gain the upper hand. The Novaks may want to take their place as the true drug kingpins and shake things up in Port Charles.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that a young man named Vincent Novak is part of some new casting sides. A leaked audition script has surfaced for Vincent, who tells Damian Spinelli (Bradford) that his buddies call him Vince. In the casting sides, Vince tries to recruit Spinelli for his tech talents and is met with suspicion.
GH viewers know Spinelli is always going to be loyal to Jason and Sonny, so there’s no chance of him legitimately helping Vince or the Novak family. Of course, there might be a situation where Spinelli ends up playing along.
Spinelli could be involved in some sort of trap if the need arises, but it’s too early to say exactly where the story’s headed. Regardless, it’s interesting that General Hospital seems to be on the hunt for a crucial Novak family member.
Since another round of the mob war is on the verge of erupting, this presents an opportunity to pull some other key players into it – including Vince. Cyrus may have more enemies to worry about than he thinks he does, but Spinelli and Jason will have a good reason to be wary, too.
