General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may catch Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) close moment, which could lead to him demanding answers about his dad’s true feelings.
So far, Sonny’s managed to keep his Nixon Falls romance under wraps for the most part. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) knows the true nature of Sonny and Nina’s relationship, but Sonny thinks he can handle that threat.
Sonny doesn’t know Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is in the loop, but she’s not going to be a problem for now either.
Willow will keep her mouth shut for a while, which will give Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Michael Chad Duell) some time to mourn Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) without piling on the pain.
Nina will be grateful to keep the real story quiet a little longer, but she should really start being more careful about these close moments she shares with Sonny!
It looks like another one may be coming up during the week of December 13-17, so let’s consider how things might play out.
Sonny will make a surprise gesture of some sort that could end up tying in with Nina. Regardless, Michael will be stunned by something he witnesses – and around the same time, Sonny will offer comfort to someone.
Mysterious spoilers usually mean the show’s trying to preserve a shocker in some way. If Sonny was just going to be comforting someone typical like Carly, the spoilers would go ahead and say so.
The fact that GH spoilers don’t tell us who Sonny’s going to comfort suggests it’ll probably be Nina – meaning Sonny may find himself unable to resist coming to her rescue and consoling her in some sad moment.
That could leave Michael in the prime position to spy this exceptionally close interaction and feel like he’s not getting the whole story.
A warm embrace could certainly leave Michael’s blood boiling and convince him to confront Sonny about his true relationship with Nina.
Regardless, Willow may land in a tight spot once Michael realizes she knew what really went down in Nixon Falls and hid it from him.
Some marriage conflict could be brewing, so Sonny and Nina’s time together will continue to have a ripple effect that could do even more damage.
