General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, June 14 Recap – Finn & Liz Sparks Fly – Chase Breaks Down to Brook Lynn

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, June 14, reveals that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) sparks started to fly in a tender moment – and a scared Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) broke down to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Here’s how it all played out in Monday’s drama-filled episode.

At GH, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) spread the word about his engagement to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Liz, Finn and Brook Lynn all got updates on the bittersweet fast-tracked wedding.

Chase encouraged Willow to tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and referred to him as his best friend.

After Willow left, Brook Lynn chased after her and acknowledged how hard this must be. Brook Lynn knew Willow loved Chase, but she pointed out that Willow was IN love with Michael.

Willow explained how they never meant to deceive Chase like this, but Brook Lynn didn’t judge and understood their reasons.

Back with Chase, he pushed Finn to stop beating himself up over not being able to cure him. Chase insisted this wasn’t Finn’s fault and felt Finn had done everything he possibly could.

Chase needed Finn to give him the strength to say goodbye if it came to that, but Finn refused to give up.

Brook Lynn returned to Chase’s room next and offered him a choice. They could keep pretending everything was fine with all the wedding talk or “rage against the machine” since Chase had been dealt such a bad hand.

Chase let out his true emotions as he talked about how he should be starting his future with Willow, not planning to say goodbye to her. He cried as he admitted how scared he was and how he didn’t want to die, so Brook Lynn gave Chase the comfort he needed.

Over with Finn again, he found Liz and teared up over Chase’s ordeal being his fault. Liz assured Finn that wasn’t the case as they shared a tender moment – including holding hands and Finn touching Liz’s face.

Liz seemed unsettled by the spark before she left the room in a hurry.

Next, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) had a joyful reunion with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).

Stella also lectured Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) about the family falling apart and felt Jordan would’ve signed the divorce papers if she was truly committed to ending the marriage.

Jordan felt like she couldn’t be who Curtis needed her to be. She argued that it was better to be loved for who you are than to constantly feel like you’re not enough.

Stella didn’t seem convinced that this had to be the end of the road for Curtis and Jordan.

At Pentonville, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) grilled Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) about his original sentencing before Molly came for a visit.

Molly worried about Alexis not following a special diet for her osteoporosis, but Alexis didn’t want to make waves since she already had a cushy library job.

Alexis hoped Molly could do her a favor and get the sentencing records from 2015 to the present. She had a problem to solve and pointed out this was keeping her busy behind bars.

Molly was glad to see Alexis get a little of her enthusiasm back when it came to the law, so she vowed to get Alexis those files.

As for TJ, he visited Shawn and was disappointed that his father wouldn’t be able to attend his med school graduation. However, TJ was mostly concerned for Shawn and how being denied his parole was affecting him.

Shawn didn’t think TJ should come visit anymore since they couldn’t have a real relationship like this, but TJ felt this was better than nothing and wanted to keep seeing his dad.

Meanwhile, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) let Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) know that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) had pressured Michael into giving her time with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

Although Carly didn’t blame Nina for that, she fully intended to find out what Jax’s leverage was. Once Nina left, Carly grilled Michael again in hopes of learning the truth.

Michael dodged his mom’s questions and wondered if she’d step aside from the mob business now that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was free. Michael did his best to make Carly see that Jason should be the one in charge.

Later, Willow showed up and stunned Michael with the news that she accepted Chase’s marriage proposal. Michael stood there looking confused and hurt over the shocker.

As for Nina, she cornered Jax at his house and pushed to find out what he did to prompt Michael’s change of heart. Jax didn’t offer details, but he felt the important thing was that Nina now had time with her grandson.

Nina thanked Jax, but she wanted to clarify that this didn’t change anything between them. She didn’t owe Jax anything and wasn’t sure that Port Charles was her home any longer.

At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) apartment, she got a visit and confirmation from Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) that nothing had been spilled about her original Beechers Corners plan.

Bobbie offered sympathy and some lactation help as Maxie opened up about what she was going through. Part of Maxie didn’t want her milk to dry up since it made her feel connected to Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom), so Bobbie consoled her as she cried.

General Hospital spoilers say Maxie and Brook Lynn’s baby scheme will come with more problems, so stay tuned to ABC’s GH. CDL will have all the hottest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you’re looking for!
